AI or Software? Doesn't matter
I don't know how this is done. But however it's done works. No vocals at low setting, one setting up about 25% just enough background for you to be on-key. Speaking of on key it has 5 positive and 5 negative settings to change the pitch of vocals, so whether you are a bass or soprano you can sing a song in a vocal range you are comfortable with. If I did not understand software I would think this was magic. Using with a partybox 320.

Not compatible with 2 or more speakers!
I purchased two JBL PartyBox Stage 320 speakers specifically to build a high-quality home karaoke system, and I bought the JBL EasySing AI microphones because the enhanced vocal effects—not the AI vocal removal—were a major reason for the purchase. The microphones themselves sound good, and the vocal effects are noticeably better than many consumer wireless microphones. Once they’re working, they’re a solid option for home karaoke. Unfortunately, getting them working took several hours because the setup instructions are incomplete. The included QR code only links to a basic setup video that tells you to plug in the USB receiver and start using the microphones. That was NOT my experience. My Stage 320 speakers would not recognize the microphones at all. The solution was: * Download the JBL One app (the regular JBL PartyBox app was not enough). * The JBL One app immediately prompted a firmware update for my Stage 320 speaker. * After that update completed, it prompted a second firmware update specifically for the EasySing microphone system. * Only after BOTH updates completed did the microphones finally begin working. This information should absolutely be included in the setup instructions because it would have saved me several hours of frustration. The other issue is with multiple speakers. I purchased two PartyBox Stage 320 speakers because stereo sound is a huge part of my karaoke setup. In my experience: * The EasySing microphones work with a single Stage 320. * However, I was unable to successfully use them with a two-speaker setup. * The JBL app repeatedly instructed me to unplug the EasySing USB receiver in order to create a stereo pair. * After finally creating a stereo pair, plugging the EasySing receiver back in caused additional issues. * I was never able to get the EasySing microphones working reliably with two speakers in stereo mode. Because of that, I ended up switching back to the standard JBL wireless microphones included with the Stage 320 bundle. Those microphones are actually very good. They provide adjustable echo, bass, treble, and microphone volume directly on the speaker, and for most people they’ll be an excellent karaoke solution. To get my two speakers working together, I ultimately connected them with an AUX daisy-chain cable. That allows both speakers to play simultaneously while using the standard JBL wireless microphones. It isn’t true left/right stereo, but it provides excellent room coverage for karaoke. I really wanted to use the EasySing microphones because the improved vocal effects were a major reason I purchased them. Unfortunately, with a two-speaker karaoke setup I was never able to get them working the way I had hoped. The microphones themselves deserve a good rating because they sound good once they’re working. However, JBL really needs to improve the setup instructions and clearly explain the required firmware updates and any limitations when using multiple PartyBox speakers. If you’re using a single speaker, these are a nice upgrade. If you’re planning to build a two-speaker karaoke system like I did, be prepared for a lot of troubleshooting and verify the current compatibility before purchasing.

Crisp and clear voice. make sure you hold play button on newer models like charge 6 or Boombox 4 right after you turn it on until you hear the confirmation chime

Easy Setup, Great Sound, and Impressive Features
Definitely works as advertised. I’m using it with the JBL PartyBox 120, and the real-time vocal removal feature is fantastic — no noticeable delay at all. The sound is very clear and crisp, and the JBL Portable app offers a wide range of sound adjustments. Setup was seamless. I plugged in the USB dongle, turned on the mic, and it connected to the speaker immediately. I can’t comment much on battery life yet since I only received the mics a few days ago and haven’t tested them long enough. One small issue I encountered: after fully charging both mics before first use, one mic’s white LED kept blinking and would not pair. The next day, I plugged it in again, and since it was already fully charged, the charging completed in about two minutes. Somehow, after that, the mic paired instantly. Not sure what caused it, but the issue resolved itself. And since then, several attempts to turn the mic off and on again, it never lost the pairing. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for seamless connectivity and excellent sound quality.
