The die-cast anodized aluminum enclosure and metal grille protect the speaker from accidental damage. Control over your bass The low-pass filter, adjustable bass boost, and phase switch help you dial in your sound. Line- and speaker- level inputs with switchable load give you multiple options for wiring your system. The included wiring harness simplifies installation, and a wired remote control lets you adjust the sub's volume from the driver's seat.     • Perfect under a seat, but not for the trunk
I mounted this sub behind the driver’s seat in a NC Miata, and ended up liking it so much that I bought a second one to put behind the passenger seat. They put out a nice, tight bass line that you can feel, without vibrating the whole car or deafening the passengers. Installation is pretty easy; I was able to do it by myself in about two hours. Its performance is excellent for a miniature sub, but keep in mind that it CANNOT compete with a 10” vented enclosure. It lacks that ‘big bass’ sound, and even at maximum gain, you won’t be able to hear (or feel) it if you put it in the trunk. Hip hop and rap bass lines tend to roll off noticeably on the extreme low-end notes, but for classic rock, country, and less bass-heavy music its performance is flawless. Two other things to note: The Nano is very slim, but if your car has very low-slung seats (Miata) it won’t fit underneath. The remote volume knob has an obnoxiously bright blue power indicator. I had to mount it facing down, to keep it from blinding me while driving at night. If I could change one thing about the Nano, it would be that annoying light. ... show more

    • Clean sound, small and good for small cabs
This sounds great. Put it in a smart car and with that small cab it’s prefect and punchy. Trucks or small cabs it’s great. Would need 2 for larger vehicles. I would buy again.

    • At this price point I can’t name a better built sub in such a small package
Honestly such an awesome sub in a small package. While you can’t compare it with the crazy rattle you’d get from 10 or 12 inch full subs this compact was super easy to install and still manages to vibrate my rear view mirror. I personally don’t like a big boom I want a well rounded sound for my overall listening both highs and lows and this for the price is perfect. I’ve never had a problem from jbl so cannot go wrong with this. Quick note jbl also has a different brand called infinity by harmony that has a mini that’s comparable to this is the case that this one’s sold out or you’re wanting a slightly different look. ... show more

This subwoofer completely transformed the sound in my Jeep Wrangler. Packs a ton of punch in a small form. I have it located under the driver’s seat, and it’s the perfect fit. Very easy to setup after wiring the power, remote and ground. This sub delivers that consistent clean JBL sound. It’s good, just know it’s a small 6in sub that will give you good bass for its size. It’s more of a filler and some. If you have a factory setup, no trunk option, then this will definitely fill up your cabin. For thump, go 10in.

I installed this in my travel trailer because the small speakers just didn't have enough bass. This unit was very easy to install and came with the right hardware to install it. It sounds great!
