Quality and performance in a simple to set up package
I love this system. I don’t use the detachable speakers as much as I thought I would and that’s not a bad thing. This system does a fantastic job of mimicking surround sound and routinely confuses me and guests alike that sounds are coming from different places. Even the basic sounds confuse the senses. A dog barking or car door closing “beside or behind” you sometimes confuses me thinking I have someone in the driveway for instance. Perfect room filling sound and deep bass from the subwoofer compliment any action movie. Haven’t tried much music through the system but I expect it would be amazing. Highly recommend this system if you want minimal gear and great sound. ... show more

This thing is great!
I have a Samsung TV so initially went with the obvious Surround Sound (Samsung) because I thought it would pair easily and sound good. That one literally went into my firepit (about a $700 loss...). Looked up the best surround sound with the easiest setup and this JBL presented itself. Granted - spent twice the money but knew it was well spent when the subwoofer was 3 times the size of the Samsung's. Super easy setup, sounds amazing - should've gone with this the first time! ... show more

True Surround Sound with that 11.1, this JBL1300x Soundbar and Woofer THUMP THUMP!!
My goodness this JBL Bar 1300x thumps. It has 5 levels of adjusted bass, and these speakers/12" woofer can shake any apartment or house, with ultra crisp sound bouncing off all walls, makes this such an easy purchase. I've owned JBL bluetooth speakers in the past, hence I trust the JBL brand name, but these are out of this world. Watching any movie/show with this JBL 1300x makes it seem like you are directly in the movie lol. A definite must in any household if you love true surround sound. PS, your neighbors might not love the bass level at 5, as it will shake anything hanging off the wall an easy task. ... show more

Great Sound
After I finally got it set up it works & sounds great. The instructions were so small that I needed magnification just to read them. Poorly written and incomplete. Took a call to JBL to finish connectivity. For something this expensive I would expect the remote & the bar to have equalizer functions. But, NO. Had to run all HDMI cables to TV & Optical out from TV to the bar. Not shown in instructions. NOW that it is set up right I am very happy with it. Max volume could be higher. ... show more

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
Review Image by Mama
This is probably the best system I have ever owned in my entire life, I got rid of my Klipsch system for this wonderful sounding JBL, the first movie I watched was passengers and this brought such a great cinematic experience. It’s very astonishing, technology sure has come a long ways in the last five or six years, if you’re looking for a system that will completely blow you away, this is the one, I’m a musician, and I hear all the spectrum of every little detail, you will surely be impressed. This is just amazing - thank you ... show more

Lasted just long enough to be out of warranty
Not the sellers fault but the product is junk. Lasted about a year and a half and stopped working. Got with customer service and they had me try a few basic things and none were effective. From there I was til if it was within a year I could send it in and have it warrantied. I understand that electronics don’t last forever but for the price you should get more than 18 months. Won’t buy JBL again ... show more

Love, love, love it !!!

So I researched different sound bars far and wide, and I consider myself somewhat of an audiophile person, lol. I am so impressed with this system. I went and checked out so many different sound bars, but I’m not going to lie, the key for me was the wireless speakers! Look at the picture, you see no wires anywhere, and the surround sound is incredible….. Most of the reviews on this item received very high marks, and the only cons about it were the battery powered speakers did not last that long. They said only up to six hours, and who really spends six hours, watching TV! Not me…… I have had no issues with the wireless speakers losing power and I guarantee you I’ve watched movies and TV up to about 3 1/2 or four hours. I am totally satisfied with this product and I give it A+++++ or five out of five stars! Or, whatever your rating system might be, lol. ... show more

PC Speakers
I realize this is an odd choice for gaming pc speakers, but it works. I typically stream music on one screen and game on the other. These speakers bring amazing crisp music with a boom. If I turn it up I can feel the base on the other side of the house. My house is roughly 3800 square feet. Love them! Wish they were a little less expensive. ... show more
