I am nearly 6 feet tall, and I can lay comfortably on this bean bag chair; I can actually use it as a bed if I needed to. It's very light to move around, but feels fairly firm to sit or lay on. It reminds me of a micro-bead pillow I have. My cats like to lay on it; their shed fur doesn't stick to it as much as other fabric upholstery in the house, which is a big plus. I think kids would love it even more. It's big enough for a couple of kids to lounge on it. And we love it! - It is light weight- so we can easily move it around especially for cleaning. - Can be shaped as an upright sitting position chair, a bean bag for lounging, or lying down. - Bought it for my 16yr old so it is large enough for him without taking over his room in terms of size- he loves it! -The fabric is soft and stretchy. That being said I gave it 3 stars because the company selling it was excellent to deal with. They give me a full refund and paid for returning shipping.
