I'd pass on this item. Had to partial assembly and the front rim didn't fit. Called manufacturer & they were no help act all, even rude. Claimed it wasn't their s as I bought it from Amazon. Even tho it had their name on it. Bought another bike directly from another manufacturer, bypassing Amazon.

Was hard to get the front tire on right but other than that, putting it together was a breeze and it works great. Something you might not have considered, electric bikes are heavy (makes sense but I never thought about it) and so when peddling without the motor it’s more work than a regular bike. Love it. The instructions instruct nothing; some parts are missing or broken. The processes of assembly are torturous. The instructions do not underline the really important processes: if you just follow that, you will either encounter some hidden dangers while riding in the future or find yourself needing to start over the assembly. I consider myself to be fairly experienced in assembly, since I do lots of designing, operating, and repairing some cutting-edge instruments in science, while the assembly still takes me about 3 hours. ... show more
