After 40 Years of working, I have a lot of arthritis in my hands and my grip strength is nowhere near what it used to be. I bought this to replace a much less effective jar opener. The first time I used it was on a glass jar with a metal lid, vacuum packed with a rubber gasket on the inside of the lid. I put it on and leaned into it expecting to have to put a lot of force on, but it came open so easily.
