Description

Features a Viton piston cup. Ideal for use with caustic chemicals. Built for leak-free performance, this sprayer's poly piston pump is mounted within the tank to eliminate the risk of external leaks on the user. Independently tested to operate more than 1,500 hours continuously with no breakdowns, this rugged sprayer only requires six pumps to reach 45 psi and produces a maximum of 65 psi. The sprayer features a polypropylene UV-resistant tank, a tough composite base, an internal agitator, a large fill opening, volume markings (in gallons and liters), and metal bushings for long life. The 26"L stainless steel wand features an adjustable cone nozzle and a heavy-duty metal trigger. Additional features include a 65"L hose, a convenient carry handle, and adjustable padded shoulder straps. Three-year manufacturer's warranty.

I have a 15 year old Hudson sprayer of the same design and I have done nothing but use it. This unit appears to be so similar I have great expectaions. It is slightly narrow so those with a rear bumper the size of mine might find the pump arm a bit friendly but it works flawlessly.

this design is so much better that the others, I'm looking at you Solo. I only bought this because my Solo backpack sprayer fell apart and the repair kit didn't fix it. This design is so much better with the pump on the top where it can be accessed if need be unlike almost every other brand where they hide it inside the bottom to seemingly be aerodynamic and sleek. I don't need my sprayer aerodynamic, I am only walking on the ground, not flying in space. This also pumps up much faster with more pressure. The only brand I will buy from now on and the only one I recommend too. ... show more

I have used almost every brand of backpack sprayer and this is by far the best. After Stihl stopped making sprayers, I tried at least 6 different brands and this one topped the charts in my opinion. You have to make sure everything is tightened properly (of course), but it does a great job holding pressure without much pumping. My only complaints are that you can crank the lid too tight and then it's hard to get off (and my hands aren't wide enough), and the markings on the side are hard to see (so use a sharpie and re-mark them before you get started). ... show more

    • Quality, good functionality.
The sprayer has only 2 cons that I found in my first 6 hours of usage. The part of the pump that sticks up from the unit- it tends to catch in vines and branches in heavy growth areas. 2- I am having trouble keeping one of the straps atatched at the bottom, so I'll make a zip tie or something to keep that on the mount. Pros- the unit seems very well made and has a nice feature with the stainer and the inside measuring cup in the lid. That keeps the measuring cup clean and at hand every time no matter where I stop to refill. I haven't found the unit uncomfortable to wear yet but I suppose an all day job would change that. Time will tell on it's durability but it seems like a pro grade unit. ... show more
