Quality of these skates is great! However sizing was a bit off. I’m an 8 woman’s and got a 7, it was tight/painful. I’m exchanging. Update: bought the 8 and it’s perfect! Sizing is the same as your regular shoe size.

Great skates! They work perfectly and came in good condition. I find it kind of difficult to get the laces tightned completely but I think that may be how ice skates are. This is my first pair though so I do not have a lot to compare to. Have not got any blisters yet either!

I love these! I needed something that would offer good ankle support, because I have nagging tendonitis in on of my ankles. The first time I took these out, I couldn't properly tighten them because they needed to be broken in. After about 2 skates (1 hr/skate), they are easier to ties and offer great ankle support. I am pretty consistently a size 8.5 in street shoes (sometimes an 8.0 in athletic shoes), and the 8.0 fit me perfectly. Get a sharpener with your purchase or plan to sharpen your skates before your first rink visit, because these arrive quite dull. ... show more

I started taking adult skating classes and wanted to buy my own skates. I was sized at my local ice rink for figure skates and was told I am a size 6 in skates. I wear an 8 in regular shoes and have really wide feet so I was hesitant to order these skates in a size 6 after reading the reviews. I ended up getting the size 8 and am glad I did. They fit perfectly! They're very comfortable and make such a difference compared to the rental skates. I did not find any visible flaws with the skates when I opened them and they were sharpened when they arrived so I was able to go straight to the ice with them. These are very beautiful skates. My daughter wears size 1 in shoes and got size 3 in these skates and the fit is perfect. She also wears thicker socks with it. They do have a good support for the feet. Very happy with this purchase.
