This was a difficult choice, with so many dog car seats out there, but this one is perfect for me and my pup. I drive a Mini Cooper and my dog is a whippet-terrier-chihuahua mix, about 15 lbs?? It is easy to secure to my passenger seat (with a leather car cover I recently installed btw), it's cozy, I put an extra little blanket inside, my dog is secure enough with the hook that is attached within the seat, but he doesn't jump around...so if you have a dog that does, I also bought an extra bungee cord strap in case, and separately, just for his collar, if needed. It keeps my dog safe and completely secure when braking in traffic, it has foldable sides that work for sun-shading, I can easily carrying him into the groomers while still in the seat, it's simply perfect, well-made, beautiful material...and worth it after years of having my dogs sit on my car seats. I feel good about this purchase and caring for my pet. I took a lot of time to choose, hopefully this will help you to decide. ... show more

Purchased this specific car seat due to an influencer recommendation. It's MUCH pricer than other similar products but figured I pay more so it can hopefully last longer and wouldn't have to constantly replace cheaper ones which would equate to the same amount. Color does not match the description. It's a much darker gray than image provided. Image provided is a heather gray but the gray I received is kind of a dark gray. The material is also not as fluffy as pictured. I even ran it in the dryer for 30 mins hoping to fluff it up even more but don't really see a difference and allowed it to sit out unused for a few days in the car. Overall I like that the carseat does have the capability to double as a pet bed. The middle cushion is removable and the overall carseat can be used as a carrier. Otherwise my pup does look comfortable in the seat and seems calm for car rides Update 6/1/2025: customer support reached out and helped resolved my concern. This dog car seat has been a fantastic addition to our daily car rides. It’s very user-friendly and gives us peace of mind knowing our dog is secure and safe while we’re on the road. The seat attaches securely with buckles at the top of the car seat, and there’s a short leash inside to clip to your dog’s harness—keeping them comfortably in place without too much movement. Our dog really seems to enjoy the ride more now and finds the seat cozy and inviting. It’s become part of our everyday routine, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality and design. I got this car seat to replace a box-style car seat -where it was like an open box and there are 4 walls around the dog. With the old car seat, if i slammed on the breaks and my dog had her paws on the top of the wall to look out, she was able to fly out of the car seat and basically get strangled by the tether until she hopped back in. Not safe. I was excited to get this car seat because i need my dog to be contained and SAFE. I like the fact that it loops over the front seat head rest and the backseat headrest. There is also a buckle to secure the car seat to the seat in the car, but it doesn't work with with my car (acura rdx) since the half of the back seat where the dog goes is attached to the center seat portion of the backrest as well. It would fit around the other side of the back seat, but i have a child car seat there so it wont work. That seems to be the only downfall of this- a longer strap would fix it, but it holds in place well enough with the loops for the head rests. I buckled the car's seatbelt and wrapped the strap that came with the car seat around the buckled belt for added stay. I wish it was a tad bit higher so my dog could see out the window more easily, but i like the construction of this seat. She is able to look out the window by putting her paws on the arm rest on the door, and i dont worry so much since there is padding in front of her if i do need to slam on the brakes. I wish the tether could be shortened more, but it's probably not an issue for most people- my dog is just super tiny. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this car seat! It keeps my pup safe and secure while we’re driving, and she looks so comfy and happy in it. I’m pretty sure my cat is claustrophobic so this helped him be comfortable in the car but also help seclude him to one area. We set it out in the house for about a month so he’d get used to seeing it and smelling it and he set in it all on his own a lot. Theres handles in the side that help fold it up into a makeshift carrier but if you’ve got a runner, I wouldn’t use that. The idea of the car seat is great though It’s not super secure. The only real attachment is a loop that goes around the headrest. Theres a leash type thing that attaches to the animal’s harness (don’t use a collar for that), but again it’s not super secure and just poses as a loose attachment. It would help if that piece had an adjustable length because he tries to get up and walk around (understandably, but dangerous while driving). It inevitably got puked on so we followed the instructions for washing it but it got torn even on the gentle cycle so the stuffing came out. Overall it works as a comfy seat for your pet in the car but safety and durability aren’t super great. ... show more

Bought for a road trip to keep my pup secure and comfortable. She loved it and had plenty of room to move around.
