Last year I bought another, cheaper product in white that looked bad and was permanently wrinkled, and also see-through, so I gave up, until summer heat returned again... This time I did a lot of research before ordering and was very happy I found a good quality product. While it had wrinkles from being folded, it was easy to iron them out (takes time though) and the material is really smooth and nice. I was also happy to find shorter curtains here, because they never sell them in stores, and for a very reasonable price. I chose the silver grey, which is a very light grey that looks elegant and goes well with all the colors in the room. I didn't expect total blackout from it, being a lighter color, but it's a lot better than what I thought and can block a fair amount of light and heat. I just wish they came with matching tie-backs, I'm worried about ruining the nice look with a different colored string. It's probably less of a problem for basic colors like, black, white, navy... but this silver is so nice. I'm thinking about ordering more...

I don't give many reviews seeing as i have 3 children under 5 and little time. That said, i am in love with these curtains! The quality is far beyond what i expected for the incredibly low price i paid. I needed to make my 1 year old daughters room more cozy warm and dark...this did the trick. The sun beams in her bedroom window and she refused to nap in her room. The moment these curtains went up their was almost no light coming through the window and shortly after i put her up for a nap and she slept 2 hours. Mind you today was a very sunny day. Her bedroom has no draft after putting up the curtains and the pink color was a perfect pink for a little girls room. Matched her pink bedding and princess tent perfectly. Im watching her now from my monitor and she is sprawled out sleeping sound for the first time in her own bed and bedroom. As for quality, the curtains were packaged nicely. I took them out folded and once unfolded not a wrinkle existed. The color was a vibrant pastel pink with a slight shine to them.The hemming was straight with medium length stitching and no seen imperfections. The curtain had weight to it and was moderately thick material. Where the rod holder enters the cuff of the curtain it is very wide. Id think any thickness rod will fit through. The curtain falls straight down and doesn't flare out at the bottom like some irritatingly cheap curtains do. They close together with out gapping or flaring out at all. My husband is never one to comment and he said we need these for all the rooms in our home. Will be ordering teal for my sons bedroom next. These curtains are a game changer. The fabric is very soft, velvety and thick. The color is lovely and matches the room nicely. However, they're not true 100% blackout curtains. They do darken the room, but I'd say maybe only 70-80% at maximum. My husband works graveyard, so the morning light that shines directly into our bedroom window isn't ideal. We were looking for curtains that would darken the room to nighttime levels so he could sleep better. Perhaps a darker color would dampen the light more (we chose the khaki color), but I don't really think it'll help much.

I have been looking for window treatments for a very long time but I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars. I am at about $200 to cover 9 narrow, almost floor to ceiling windows. The material is thick to make it pretty dark in here during the day, I think they keep it cooler in the summer, the quality/material is very nice. I threw them in the dryer to smooth them out from the packaging, these should be very easy to wash if needed. You have complete privacy, the length and width is great for each window. These did the job and look very nice and want too expensive.

Blocks all the light. I can't confirm if it helps block heat but I was assume so since it blocks the light I bought this and the "sun zero" brand to compare. Both seem to block all the light, feel equal in quality and thickness. I used an infrared thermometer on both and they measured the same temperature The only difference I noticed was the top section where the curtain rod goes through. This one is much smaller than the sun zero. My rod wouldn't fit the top section on this one but fit the sun zero fine
