The product is light weight and well made. Unfortunately the sleeves are too long. I am 5ft 8in, weigh 160 lbs, chest is size 40 and sleeve is 32/33. The sleeves have two snap positions which do not afford a tight closure at the wrists. Sleeves extend to my nuckles.

This jacket is a rather thick winter jacket with lots of insulation. it is very warm, I just put it on for a few minutes and I can feel the warmth building up inside. The outer shell looks like a canvas type of fabric but it is waterproof. I put it under running water and it repelled water like a ducks behind. Water just sheds right off, a quick shake and it's completely dry, not even a hint of moisture. This will be great for cold rainy weather, but for temperatures in the upper 60s and up it will be too hot to use. I got a medium and the fit is a little bit big, so don't oversize when purchasing. The fit is on the bulky side so this might not be ideal for active uses. Seems to be well made with good stitching but there is one issue I have keeping it from 5 stars. The zipper is hard to use, its strange. It has a double sliding zip, you have to insert the free end into both of the zip slides which can be difficult. After you zip up the jacket, the second bottom zip can be slid up and it will open from the bottom. Don't understand what this feature is for. ... show more

The Jack Wolfskin jacket fits true to size and is so comfortable to wear. It does not feel bulky and is very lightweight. I have tried it on with both a sweater and light long sleeve thermal and it fits nicely. It keeps you warm without the bulkiness. There are many pockets to keep your essentials on you like a wallet and keys. It is long enough to cover your back which is a big plus for me especially on those cold winter days. Jacket comes with a hood which comes in handy for those days that are raining. Perfect for travel as you can roll it up for easy packing or to store in a bulk head on the plane.
