I got it when it was listed for $29.95, and figured it would just be good enough to at least provide video in case any accidents occured. After the first few days and nights of recording, I was pretty surprised with how well the quality was. Night time is ok, I would say it's not bad, and you CAN see everything in pretty good detail but license plates is a hit or miss at seeing when there are a lot of lights around. That being said, you WILL still have a very good video detailing what happened in the recording. The day time recording however shocked me the most because it looked better than 1080p. When I played the video on my computer from the SD card, I couldn't believe how much detail that camera captured along with how easy it was to make out the license plates about 100 feet or so in front of me. That is why I'm giving this 5 stars because I feel like I got more than what I paid for and I have tried a few other dash cams around the same price, but this one feels like it should be a $50 dash cam. That being said, there is ONE con I have to address and that's the type C connection location. Not sure why they placed it on the top of the camera, but unless you have a 90* angle type C cable, the one they provide might eventually break on you because of how little room you have between it and the windshield. The mount they include doesn't give a lot of clearance for the cable to be plugged in without it slightly being pushed out of the way of the windshield so if you intend on getting this dash cam, you might also want to pick up a 90* angle cable too.

This was a pretty cheap dash cam, but I have nothing but amazing things to say about it. The quality is great for the value and so far it’s held up incredibly against the heat. The size is a typical size for a dashcam. It also comes with the SD card, which is so helpful.

I have 2 of these in my car and they’re easy to use and get videos off of. However you can’t see license plate numbers unless they’re pretty close. If you get hit I would just yell the license plate number out so the camera catches it on audio.

The GD100 is a great camera for the money. I purchased this product for the 2-year warranty and especially the free USB cable they claim to provide if needed (my car doesn't have a cigarette lighter). I learned the hard way, this only applies to sales made directly from the iZeeker Store. Purchases from the Amazon Warehouse and third party resellers have NO 2-year warranty, NO free replacement parts, and NO USB power cable upon request. Again, it's a great camera for the money, but if you need the USB power cable be absolutely sure you are purchasing directly from iZeeker. Do not follow the "Buy New & Used from...", nor the "Other Amazon Sellers" links unless you don't need the USB cable nor want a 2-year warranty. I have followed the "report an issue or error on this page" link and asked that the warranty and parts replacement text be edited to clearly state it does not apply to iZekker products sold by Amazon Warehouse nor any other "third parties." I have been in contact with iZeeker and Amazon. My only recourse is to return the camera to the seller (Amazon Warehouse). All I wanted was the advertised USB cable so I could enjoy the camera. … Hoping this helps other buyers. …

The company iZEEKER was responsive THROUGH email (wouldn't call). had a couple of emails and wasn't directed to someone more senior immediately. AND with that: they would not recommend another one of their products, which might serve my needs better. my problem: i wanted to shut off the LOOP which only gives you 1MIN. 3 MIN. 5MIN. -NO OFF.- which you continue the recording until the SD card is full then you can wipe the SD and start over again. Which i like. i want to be 100% i am recording. NOW- my problem is AMAZON. because AMAZON in the description says it has this option. IT DOES NOT. if i could give a star to AMAZON it would be 2 they get one for the delivery and the other for the return ( even though i had to pay for the label to be printed and for the packaging at my local UPS)

For the price, it's probably the best. The recorder for this price has a type-c connector, very pleasantly surprised. Another plus is the universal connector for mounting, no need to bother with finding a unique connector. And a convenient spatula in the kit for routing the wire. The wire is long enough. Writes for this price is normal, numbers of course not distinguish without special programs, but the price makes its own adjustments. 5 out of 5
