My girlfriend and I got this mattress for my Lance Cabover Camper, to replace a good quality air mattress we purchased at REI. Turns out this mattress is perfect in our application. Here's why: The trifold design makes it super easy to install. A conventional queen size mattress is very hard to get into the camper. The 4" hight allows us a bit more headroom than a conventional mattress, or the REI inflated mattress. Most importantly, this mattress is surprisingly comfortable. The top layer of memory foam is just enough to contour to our body shapes, without sinking too deep in. Very relaxing and restful. The cover itself is beautiful and functional, and can be removed for washing. One more point worth mentioning: we detected no off-gassing for this product. Zero! Very uncommon with foam products, and a big plus when it will be used in the small enclosed space of a camper. When the product arrived, it was tightly rolled into what seemed like a too-small box. But don't let that deter you. Once opened and allowed to expand to its full potential (in about 12-24 hours), each section of the trifold lays completely flat, as pictured in the Amazon listing. We've used it for two nights. It was better for my wife. For me, it was OK, but with my back pain and hip replacement I really need to sleep in a chair. Also, I'm 6-2 and 220 lbs. However, we are going to try another layer of regular foam (hopefully another 4 inchs will do it.) We have a tiny camper (bed on wheels). My son has back problems, he is 6'4 And two herniated discs. He has to sleep on a hard surface. This is perfect for him as it provides enough cushion. He really liked this product. Super impressed, was worried about buying this brand because of the cheaper price point however I'm happy I did! The measurements are accurate and the mattress is really comfortable, I love that 2 of the pieces don't have a crack so they don't push apart when sleeping for the 3rd piece we put velcro furniture tape on it and it didn't come apart while sleeping on it and it still folds up easily while using the tape. ... show more
