This mattress is extremely firm, just to my liking. I came from a serta icomfort with an adjustable base. I loved it but eventually it became too soft. This mattress allowed me to use my adjustable base and sits roughly in the same footprint. Sheets all fit. Mattress will require a waterproof protector if you sleep hot. Un boxing was easy and it returned to full expanse 24-36 hrs. I didn't notice a smell but maybe that's my allergies. Would reccomend ... show more

At first, I didn't think it would work for me because, it was really firm. But after a couple of nights, I noticed, I had no pressure point problems like I thought I would. Now I'm glad I gave it a chance and kept it. Love it. I don't feel my husband moving around the bed disturbing my sleep. He also really likes it for that reason. Wish I had this matress years ago. Its like sleeping on cloud. I had to give it over 24hours in order to form its size and firmness. For the price its really worth it.
