I got the sage green curtains and they’re really nice. Good thick material that actually blocks light pretty well. Definitely not black out but pretty close. Clearly needs steamed to get the wrinkles out but I just wanted to get them up to see how they looked. Definitely worth the money.

Not sure how they do it but they really do block light. They are not backed with a vinyl coating like other curtains I previously had. The back is same color as curtain and they feel like just one nice thick piece of material. They are very soft and silky feeling to touch and colors are very rich and true to color swatches on Amazon website. I bought 2 sets in AQUA and Dark TEAL. They came very wrinkled out of the package and did not dewrinkle in my dryer. I hung them and used a steamer and the wrinkles came out pretty well. I am very pleased with their quality, rich color and color variety, measurement accuracy, price and light blocking ability. My bedroom windows are large and get full sun in AM and these keep me sleeping in after the sun's up! My Living room gets full sun in the afternoon and pulling these curtains help keep my room cool. I highly recommend this product.

First, I gave this a 4 star simply because these are desribed as "blackout" curtains. These are NOT blackout curtains. These are not lined like blackout curtains. I knew that before this purchase because I previously purchased a set. But I think they need to change their description to something more accurate. I will say that these do a good job of darkening a room. They do block a significant amount of light but just know they are not "blackout" curtains. Some light does show through the fabric. My husband is a night shift worker and they block out enough light during the day that he can sleep comfortably. The fabric is thick. They have a very sturdy feel to them but also hang nicely. The texture is smooth without having any sheen to it. They were wrinkled out of the package but I just hung them and the wrinkles eventually smoothed out. My first purchase of these was about 2 years ago. Those have held up very well. I have washed them in cold water on the gentle cycle and hung to dry without any issue. I now have 4 sets of these in 3 different colors. I am very satisfied with this brand. These are very good quality for the price.

I am pleasantly surprised at not only the quality of these drapes, but also in their ability to block out unwanted light at night. I have a neighbor who has a fetish for motion detecting lights on his garage and home (prison lights I call them) that are so bright the illuminate rooms that aren’t facing his home. I put these up and not one bit of light shined through them. The drapes have tabs and a pocket so you don’t have to buy new rods which I’d an extra bonus. They are weighty, so make sure the window they will be hanging from can have anchored or heavier duty brackets (if using the rod pocket. They are also manufactured well - no crooked seams or hems and they have thread that matches so stitching doesn’t show. Any wrinkles that were in them out of the package are quickly falling out. Additionally, the drapes are soft to the touch and had no chemical smell out of the package. I seriously am a fan of these drapes!

Though not blackout totally, these do a very nice job on my south facing bedroom window. Texture is smooth and soft, so it's not got the feel of natural fabric at all, but is doable. They have enough weight and heft to look nice as they drape. The two methods of hanging are ok, but be aware that the loops in the back will lead to drooping. I used the pocket rod option and it's fine for my room and its aesthetic (hey kids, note the correct usage of "aesthetic"). They do block some of the cold air as well. Would I buy again? I probably would prefer something with a more natural texture. This feels like polyester sport suit jacket material.

I just recently purchased these blackout curtains and love them! I did read some reviews prior to buying them and saw that a few said they don’t block 100% of the light but still block a good portion. I agree with this. I’d say they block out about 95% of natural light in our bedroom (we have a lot of natural light, but the sun does not hit directly on our room..results could vary based on sun positioning I would think). The light sage green is the color i ordered and they still block a lot of light. The material is thick and feels like it’s good quality, especially for the price. I also didn’t have any issues with the smell when I received them.
