I have slept on this mattress for the last two nights on top of a Zinus no-tool portable bed frame. This mattress is firm, but I like a firm mattress. I purchased the 6” mattress for comfort, but probably only needed a 4”. If mattress is too firm, I would recommend putting a topper on it. For me, it is fine with just a sheet over it. The mattress appears to be well-made. It does take at least 24 hours out of the package for the mattress to decompress. I ordered the 6” mattress so that I would have a place for my 26 year old daughter sleep when she can to visit unexpectedly. She said that it was the best sleep she has had in a long time. It was so comfortable. I ordered another one for when she and my granddaughter visit together. I highly recommend. I feel like this review could be a description for some of my exes. I really hoped for more. Ordered this so I didn't have to keep putting a mattress pad on my 4" folding mattress. I only gained an inch. I'll try it out and see if it provides more comfort and we'll review again if it changes.

Got this for car camping and it’s perfect. Had to cut it down a bit for my needs and it was pretty easy. Took the zipped sheet off to cut and realized I didn’t need it. It did smell a little strong when we first opened it. Just throw it in the wash. I’ll update in a few months.
