I bought this for my Shure SM7B microphone. The microphone has some weight to it, and a lot of desk-mounted holders start to slowly lower because of the weight. I changed out my old metal desk mount for this, and it makes the mic much easier to move around, and it keeps wires out of the way. The headphone holder is a nice addition, as I don't need to buy a mount for that, too.

I have been incredibly pleased with this mic stand. I installed it on the top of my desk and it is incredibly sturdy. I haven’t had any problem with it being too loose or holding my Shure mic. I would definitely buy this again.

Very happy with the build of the mic arm. Hides wires cleanly, and the arm tightens stiff enough to not droop with the weight of the Shure SM7B. I only have 1 thing I wish they didn't skimp out on and that's the ball bearing connecting the mic to the arm. It the only plastic piece on the whole assembly and it snapped off and broke on me a year in. It would be a very long lasting product if that wasn't the case. And there isn't really a way of getting a replacement.

the plastic covers that hold the bottom broke since the first month, I was unable to return since it was past 30 days, leaving me with a having wire that nothing holds as the plastics that cover that are broken (the pins inside that hold the plastic broke just by moving the mount) waste of money

I was hesitant at spending the $70 for just a microphone mount, but this has exceeded expectations for me. I have a 3 monitor setup, with my main "monitor" being a 42" LG C2. The old crane style microphone mount would always be in my field of view while playing, and I had to have it off to the side because it couldn't properly be used coming from under a monitor. This though, fit the bill perfectly and is everything I wanted. It has the proper length, and design to be used coming from under a monitor while being out of my field of view while playing games.

Really good. I was really scared of buying cheaper mic stands because I've seen in reviews that they don't hold up Blue Yetis well. However, this one holds up my Blue Yeti great, except for if I put the mic at one specific angle (about 45°). So long as you keep it more towards being up or down, it will stay in place. I also really appreciate the in-built cable management. It was pretty easy to assemble.

This unit features a plastic underbelly to enclose the cable. Even after hearing the cover was fragile, mine broke while installing. I now have gaffer tape holding the plastic in place, which ruins the clean look this unit initially had. Disappointed. - UPDATE: My first use of the boom arm showed further quality issues. The included ball clamp to provide articulation of the mic is absolute junk. The mic just drops to the lowest point of the range and can not be tightened to a point of resistance. My mic isn't outside of the specs of the boom. This is going back.
