I wore these to show my daughter (26) the other day, with a bodysuit. My daughter thought I looked so cool. I laughed because I lived in paperbag pants all through my pregnancy with her (1997). I ordered another size up for comparison though. I wear a 14 right now and got the XL originally. The tie covered up that post-50 pouch that doesn't go away. But I went up to an XXL and they hang much nicer on me (more room for my big thighs). The waist is big though so you really have to make that tie tight if you size up, because it comes undone easily. Otherwise so cute and comfy. I'll take the waist in a few stitches myself. In the 90s we wore these with bodysuits and I'm glad to see those back too. So nice to see my daughter in mom jeans instead of those low-cut, trampy ones that were popular forever. 😅 I got the dark grey originally and love them, waiting for a larger size to come. The orange came today and they are coral - as I had hoped. Pretty for spring/summer. The light khaki is true to the photo as is the dark grey. The orange is true to the photo also but I'm not sure why they didn't call it coral. It's not pumpkin orange. Oh, for the record, I'm 5'6 and shrinking. They're long on me. I don't think anyone shorter than 5'5 would be able to wear them without getting them hemmed up. They are almost to the floor on me. ... show more

I love these pants!! I need them in every pattern and color!!! I’m 6’1 and 250 with an athletic build. These are just long enough so they actually look normal and not like floods on me. I always get compliments when I wear them to work and they are so so comfortable.

    • Flattering - But with Tight Waist Elastic

Although I did not end up keeping these pants, they were quite beautiful. The quality was good and as a sewer, I know the fabric was decent. I returned because they were way too long and I didn't want to mess with hemming a flowy type of fabric. My second issue was the waist elastic was a bit strong/tight. I am not a fan of things being super tight around my mid section and cutting my stomach in half where I carry some weight. If you do not have a sensitive tummy, these could be really good for you. ... show more

The fit is is great. If in between sizes, you could go up or down and prob be fine. There is a lot of floaty forgiveness in the wide leg and elastic waist. Material will be cool enough for hot summer nights. Could wear casual or dressy. Closet staple.

I bought the coral color. Very comfortable, but the fabric is very thin, so I cannot wear this with a dark bodysuit beneath. I was really looking forward to wearing this with a bodysuit but I guess I will have to settle for crop tops.

I am curvy, fluffy, and have a bum that’s hard to hide. These pants are high waisted but give u a nice waist without the round chubby look. I’m short so had to alter them but recommend them. You can dress them up or down.
