I was very skeptical about this at first, but I'm so sick of coloring my hair, I decided to try it. The directions say to start out leaving it on I think 5-15 minutes. That won't do it... leave it on longer. I left mine on 45 minutes and it covered my extremely stubborn grays better than regular hair color. ***ALSO - it doesn't really lather, it's more of a creamy texture. You don't really wash your hair, so I'm not sure why they say that. Basically you put some in your palms, rub it together to create a creamy texture and put it on your roots - keep doing that until all your roots are saturated. Gradually bring it out to your ends if needed (I put very little on the middle and ends). I used probably 1/3 of the bottle - I have a lot of hair. I left it on for at least 45 minutes. Then I washed it out and WOW my grays were completely covered and my hair all over was very even. What I like about it is that you don't have to part your hair every 1/2 inch or whatever like you do with regular coloring. Just rub it in your hands, put it in your hair (roots first) and boom - done. SO easy. It didn't really have any smell. Maybe a little, but far less than regular coloring. A friend of mine recommended this to show me the infomercial they send it to my phone so I can check it out I was going to buy it from there but I said let me check Amazon because sometimes they just carry all that stuff that you see on TV and look at me they did because I sent it straight to my lock to the Lockers near me I'm only two nice big bottles of this and it actually works really good for me I do babe my hair I do my mustache I do my beer I'll leave it there for the time that it needs to be there I'll go walk all around the house while it's on there do whatever I need to do when it's time to take it off I just go wash it out like I said use the shampoo and rinse it all out and it works really good I need to buy more of it too that way I haven't stock or waste and I don't run out ... show more

I have naturally very dark hair but with a red undertone that I don't particularly like with several greys in front so I usually periodically dye with henna but it 1. is very hugely messy 2. comes out very unnaturally STARK black for about a week. I was shopping for more here and this popped up and I thought it sounded clever and gave it a shot and I'm surprised at how easy it was, not messy and looks great too. I have beyond butt length hair and like to keep my ends my natural color and fade to black on top and it was really seamless to do. My hair feels great, really shiny and voluminous. Perfect for how I like to color my hair. I did use conditioner afterwards which I think the instructions to told me not to do, but it didn't seem to effect the color. I'll be a repeat customer! I took the logo sticker off and the black and gold bottle looks really classy in my shower too for what its worth. Smells very nice too, hope I don't get a sulphery smelling bottle that's been mentioned in some of the reviews next. I'm just really happy I found this! ... show more
