The instructions say this requires two people, but I'm a determined single mom and didn't want to call anyone, so I decided to risk doing it myself. I'm 5'2" and about 130 lbs. I'm pretty fit, but I have absolutely no experience building furniture. I was able to assemble almost the entire bed by myself. I only needed my 9-year-old son's help for a few minutes to get the loft bed raised onto the legs. It took me about 6 hours total, with small breaks here and there. The instructions were a little frustrating at times because I had to figure out exactly how the screw holes lined up, but I took my time and followed the directions. I did make a mistake or two, but the instructions specifically warn you not to completely tighten all the screws until the end, and that made correcting my mistakes very easy. Once I realized something wasn't lining up, it was usually obvious that I had the wrong piece or had something turned the wrong way. All of the pieces eventually fit correctly. I only needed one tool that wasn't included: a hammer. I used it to help wedge the slats into place. Once the bed is secured to the wall, it is VERY sturdy and secure. I would definitely recommend securing it to the wall. Before doing that, it could move a little and squeak, but once it was secured, I haven't had that concern. This is for my 9-year-old son, who is about 4'6" and 70 lbs. He absolutely loves it! The desk is great and has plenty of space. He uses the built-in plugs to charge his tablet, which is really convenient. The drawers are sturdy enough for lighter items—he keeps his T-shirts, underwear, and socks in them. The LED lights are also a nice touch. He uses them as a night light, and he really likes having them. There's plenty of room for him to stand underneath the bed, and he has enough headroom on top to sit up and raise his arms a little without hitting the ceiling. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. Considering the price and everything you get—bed, desk, storage, drawers, lights, and charging outlets—I think it's a great value. The assembly took some patience, but it was absolutely manageable, even for someone with no furniture-building experience. I expect this bed to last him for years.

This bed is not complicated to build, you have to take the time and make sure you put the parts in the correct way, yes, it took me a long time, that's because I had the parts wrong, all the parts was there, and all the holes was there as well, you have to take your time and be careful with instructions. This was a beautiful bed, a beautiful bed, and my 8 year old loved it amazing bed. It was worth putting it up for them, 6 hours that I spent. I definitely recommend anybody with a child this bad and this look like it would be a wonderful team bed as well very spacious desk very spacious staircase this is a beautiful bed unfortunately it does not fit in my daughters room so I have to return it back to the seller if I did have enough space in my daughters room I promise you I would keep this for her for a lifetime because it's definitely sturdy is good quality it's just so much good I could say this is not no advertisement this is a true review from Cleveland Ohio that I would definitely recommend this bed and the seller is so kindly and so nice to actually accept my return which I am so blessed for that and I appreciate this sellerand I promise you, if you put and read the you put and read the instructions bed,correctly, this bed could be put together correctly, you have to really pay attention, because I was the same way, and it was a few parts that I had to flip it, and it helped. I always get concerned when ordering big things like this. I get nervous about them being what I hope and how much hassle it will be if things go wrong. I was very happy when everything arrived in perfect condition, and was very happy that I was able to assemble this myself, in a space that's probably only 6ft by 10ft. It took some outside the box thinking, but it was accomplished. It did take about 5hrs by myself to put this together, and there were some areas that made little sense to do it the way they had it in the instructions, but it still worked out, and my 9yr old now has a ton of room in his bedroom, with him now having a bunk bed. Smaller house built over 100yrs ago, with smaller bedrooms, this was very much needed. It is rather sturdy once built, and just having up against a wall, the anchors were not needed for us. There are a few things I do not like about this, including that we need to get him another mattress, as the one he had is way too tall for this. The beams going across are rather flimsy, and I honestly recommend placing a board over them to stabilize and give more room for movement without worrying about them bending. We had a flat piece/boxspring that went to his other bed that was a perfect fit, so we just used that, but it took away 2 to 3 inches of height for a mattress. We were fortunate to have a play couch that comes apart for fort making, and those are only about 5 inches thick, so we put it together like a puzzle and that's his mattress until we find a 5inch thick one. Truthfully, I would not go any higher with this, as it takes away from the railing doing its job and keeping your kid from rolling off. The other issue I have with this is the bolts for the steps only. They are all just slightly too short, and almost impossible to get in to the boards. The top step on ours only held one of several, and if you pulled up hard enough, it popped right off. Not very secure or safe. I feel they could have went with ones just a few mm's longer and they would have been perfect. Fortunately, I had some that worked to secure it better, so it was a minimal issue, but still an issue. The steps are also kind of narrow, and I feel snug trying to go up and down them, and so does my child who is 5ft and 117lbs. Just 2 or 3 more inches wider and they'd have been perfectly comfortable. It does mean he has to go slower though, so the fact that it makes it safer, sort of cancels out the issue to me, so it's not a bad problem really. This bed overall is mostly as I had hoped despite the couple problems I stated. It reduced clutter by offering a built in desk and shelf, and has opened up the floor for my child to be able to actually play in his room. He loves being up high, and feels safe and secure as well, which is huge for him, being as he is autistic, and over worries about things that seem unsafe or even just new. The fact he loves it and wants to hang out on it all the time is a huge bonus and says a lot about this bed, despite my qualms. Even though I did not give this the full 5 stars, I would, and have, considered ordering another for my daughter. I know the few issues it has, and how to improve them, and the fact it did arrive rather fast and in perfect condition is a huge relief and would ease my concerns greatly by getting the same unit again. I think it looks great, has increased my child's ability to utilize his room for playing and school work, and is a pretty good value for the price. This will be used until my child outgrows it, which will be many years to come. Overall, a huge win, despite everything else.

My 6 year old daughter loves her bunk bed. It is her “dragon loft”. She feels safer on her bunk bed, she enjoys looking down on everyone who enter her room. She likes the table, the lights, the drawers and the steps. It makes her feel special and like she has her own exclusive place inside her room where only she can go. The assembly took longer than it should. Th instructions were ok but there are minor things that aren’t super clear from the pictures and we had a couple times where things were backwards. I do a lot of assembling so I am not at all a novice. I very much pay attention to detail but sometimes the pictures a too ambiguous. So it took a couple hours. I have assembled bunk beds before that took less than half the time. This is more elaborate but having to redo something because it wasn’t clear can be irritating. All in all, it looks nice, it is sturdy, and a decent value for your money.

I love the desk that’s under the bed it’s nice and long plenty of space for my stuff the drawers are a little bit smaller then I expected but the quality of them is great and I can still fit stuff in them so that’s ok and the stairs are a bit narrow for me but I can still go up and down them just fine so it’s ok. I love the LED light strip that’s under the bed part it looks so cool and lights up my desk area perfectly. It definitely takes more than one person to put it together tho, I had my mom help me it was fun but also tiring lol. And my cat loves it too

Holes for the crossbeams and other parts are at the wrong heights. Holes for other parts are missing, some parts are oriented incorrectly for mounting. Some bolts are incorrect length. Photo 1: Diagram of assembly. Note corner post 3 on the right and corner post 4 on the left - as I have my product oriented in the photos. Photo 2: Crossbeam mounted crookedly. Photos 3, 4, 5 and 6: There are two crossbeams that are supposed to run from the right corner post (part 3 in the diagram) and the left corner post (part 4 in the diagram). The holes for both the top and bottom crossbeam are mismatched. The hole for the top crossbeam on the right post (part 3 in the diagram) measures a height of about 25”. The hole on the left post (part 4 in the diagram) is almost 29” high. The lower hole on the right corner post (part 3 in the diagram) is about 8” high. The hole on the left corner post (part 4 in the diagram) is about 3” high. Photo 7. There is no possibility that the corner posts were assembled incorrectly, as any other way would have made assembly of all of the top side panels and beams (successfully assembled in photo) impossible. Photo 8: Diagram of drawer frame assembly to be mounted to corner post. Photo 9: Note lack of holes for this mounting on the post. They are pictured in the diagram, but absent from the corner post. Photo 10: End bolt holes on the cross brackets are oriented towar the front of the drawer frame - not on the backside as they should be. There is no way they can be flipped around. Listen I love the look of this. However, the instructions are a pain and super confusing. The bed itself isn’t difficult to put together it’s just the instructions to do so make it difficult. Took me 6 hours with another person. However, it’s great. Bit bigger than I initially thought but works in my room. I can fit my reptile tanks underneath it and the desk is sturdy enough for me to trust having a tank on it.

UPDATE: All the screws are still tight and havent come loose, 3 months later. Just a tip, if you want to disassemble the bed, and when you reach the top bed, first remove the bars that hold the mattress up. See picture 5. (Also some caps are harder than others to take out, so you mught need maybe pliers or a fork, but please be careful 🙏) OLD REVIEW: Its just like the picture. However some things as tips for you. Dont be quick to be alarmed if you are building and can't find pieces. For me, some poles were inside of other bigger poles. So, check that first. When building, do as they say and DONT tighten the screws so much UNTIL you are finished. Make sure you have the holes positioned the right way, ALWAYS check because I made a mistake over where the draws are at, but im too lazy to fix it (as seen in photo 4) For me, the two desk pieces didn't fit so well, again it could be because I made a tiny mistake with the bed pole and the desk pole but I dont know. I still made it kinda work by unscrewing those poles slightly and manuevering them. ---------But I also barely screwed down the desk because I had a hard time doing so, it doesnt move though. As you can see in pictures labeled 2 and 3 I made a mistake with the positioning of the holes. These are with the stair pieces and the holes need to be close to the floor and not close to the top. I also assembled this by myself and took breaks so it took me 12 hours, however with two (or more) people and less breaks you can get it done in way less. Maybe 4-6 hours. Overall the bed is quite sturdy, (i dont recommend two people or moving around a lot on the bed), and I recommend drilling it to the wall since they give you the option. I personally didn't because my heater prevents my bed from being close up to the wall. But I am extra careful not to move around so much. Just for reference I am 145 pounds and 5"3-4ish. My head is about 3-4 inches above where the bottom bed starts so I have to bend down slightly to get underneath the bed. But yeah so far so good, it comes with an outlet and LED lights as well. But be careful if you have a pet because my cat thinks this is a cat tree house 😂 ALSO the stair opening is quite narrow. My hips barely fit through it 😭 How humbling haha, but i can still get up. I will update you guys
