I liked that the product is well made and sturdy. It is safe for commuting short distances My complaint is that I received the package and it was missing pieces. I opened the box to find the scooter, but no manual, tools or screws bolts, charger etc. I found the manual online and saw they had left out two wrenches, and the charger for the scooter. It was mostly assembled, but you had to attach the handlebar, seat and front wheel. I watched the instruction video, but it is not a step by step one. It just shows a guy putting it together and it goes a little fast for me. I thought I could do it since there wasn't much to be done, but without the tools, I wasn't able to anyway. I live in an apt building and ended up getting a neighbor who was handy with this stuff, to put it together for me since he had the tools. I contacted the company, but they are difficult to get in touch with. I received an email from them, after I told them I didn't have the tools or charger. They emailed back, but did not say whether they would send any of the items. I had to order my own charger. It was charged enough that I was able to test drive it in my parking lot. I have not driven it anywhere else yet due to waiting on the charger I had to order to come in. It is very quiet and a good little scooter for the price. I recommend getting the tools you need before hand, which is a T handle allen wrench, & a combination wrench, just in case they don't send them. If I ever order a product like this again it will be locally, just to have the piece of mind. The product is supposed to have a warranty, but I recommend getting the extended one that is offered before placing your order. The scooter company is not opened on the weekends. I tried calling today an hour after they opened, no one was available to take my call, so nothing is resolved. I am glad I got my neighbors help, otherwise, I would have a scooter laying in my floor. I really wish I had ordered from somewhere else. I pray this scooter holds up and doesn't need repairs soon, as I don't have any idea if I would be able to get the parts I would need to fix it, such as a tire replacement. etc. Also another thing I noticed is that they zip tied the keys to the brake line. Be careful when cutting them off. I was lucky my neighbor had a tool to cut them off without harming the brake. Update: The company contacted me by phone & email and said they would send the missing items to me. I appreciated them contacting me back. They were professional & nice. I still recommend having someone to help with assembly, if you are not good at putting things together. I did struggle with putting the handle bar in. It was a little hard to get it in. My neighbor who assisted me had some trouble as well. It is an excellent scooter that rides well and is very quiet. You will get lots of compliments about your scooter. A lot of people have asked me where I got it.

I purchased this iScooter and when it arrived the seat was stuck. I had to really work hard to get it to adjust. After my son looked it over he told me that I had purchased the wrong one anyway. So I decided to send it back. I boxed it back up and prepared to ship it. Amazon is usually amazing with returns being easy. But not this time. The instructions for this return were different. It said to contact iScooter support via email first and then it said to ship it back prior to 48 hours or the refund would be voided. So I waited a day for a response from support which was 24 hours. The clock was ticking so I didn't want to "forfeit" my refund as stated if I didn't get the return label and the product shipped within 48 hours. I went to UPS and paid $160 dollars to ship it back. I then emailed a copy of my receipt to the iScooter help desk explaining my request. "Please reimburse my shipping cost, considering that your instructions say ship within 48 hours or the refund would be forfeited". A day or so later I received their response "Since you didn't wait for support to send you a prepaid label we can't refund your shipping ". So if you wait past 48 hours you forfeit your refund, and if you ship it back within 48 hours so simply have to pay the $160 shipping. So it's impossible to get a "refund" here without dropping nearly $200 extra. It's called a fancy way of wordsmithing a refund to make you pay a hefty shipping fee without bluntly stating, you have to pay for your own shipping if you want to return it. Not a good business model at all. I won't be purchasing from iScooter again!
