  • Misleading Gradient photos but prints perfect otherwise.
Color: Matte Red+orange
5 stars for print quality, 1 star for color Let me start by saying that I LOVE iSanmate filaments. I’ve purchased sooooo many gradient spools from them that have all printed BEAUTIFULLY and I will continue to do so!! I’m just disappointed in the advertising for this particular gradient. I saw another review that mentioned the same issue but thought “maybe it was a fluke because it’s a new product!” It unfortunately wasn’t. This is a spool of filament with two similar orange hues - there is no yellow or red. I’m super bummed out about it because I was really looking forward to the advertised gradient for upcoming Fall-themed multicolor prints. Again - I have never had a bad experience with iSanmate before, whether it be print quality or “as advertised” colors. This is the first spool I have ever wanted to return. ... show more

  • Doesn’t print well
Color: Glow Multicolor, Green, Blue and Blue-green
I’ve tried about a dozen different prints with this filament and continually am dissatisfied. I’ve changed bed temp. I’ve changed nozzle temp. I’ve changed print speed. Horrible stringing. Prints don’t want to stick. At this point I’m going to keep using my other colors because I can print those no issue. I wanted To use this to print some cool stuff for Halloween. But alas that’s not the case Edited: Recieved a new shipment from the company and it prints much better. Minimal issues. ... show more

  • Decent Filament, Cool Surface Texture
Color: Pla-cf Red, Black, Coffee, Purple
Decided to give this stuff a try. I had heard of CF-PLA having adhesion issues. I would say it doesn't stick as good as regular PLA, but stuck well enough to print a Benchy without a brim or raft directly on my PEI Plate heated to 60 degrees. I ran a couple temp towers with it and found that it does not like to bridge well. However, your results may vary, I tried it with a stock Tenlog TL-D3 Pro, which only has 1 sided cooling. Its possible that more cooling could benefit. I did notice it like to curl on steep overhangs, again, maybe something that could be fixed with more tweaking. I plan to keep testing different fan settings and see if I can get it fixed. If I do, I will update my review with my finding. Surface texture was great, love the matte finish. Prints felt very rigid and strong. I was able to put a lot of force on the temp tower before it snapped at a layer line. Filament itself is very brittle. It snaps very easily. I recommend using a direct drive system to help eliminate any snapping issues. This was not due to moisture as some may think. I took it directly out of the vacuum bag and started my tests. Overall, I think this is a good filament, just maybe not for the beginner with a bone stock Ender 3. ... show more

  • Overall a great filament... But the Red/Yellow needs tweeked
Color: Matte Yellow+green
I've used the Green/Yellow and the Red/Yellow. Both print excellently! Zero problems. They are great colors! So, why 4 stars and not 5? It's the Red/Yellow - while I do like it - it's not really as pictured. It's really a Red/Orange, no "yellow" - so the transition is VERY subtle. In the right light, you can see the difference, but in average light, it's pretty close. I reached out to Isanmate, they're looking into it - and if they do, I'll gladly change this to 5 stars. ... show more

  • Turns Brittle With Even The Smallest Amount Of Heat.
Color: Glow Multicolor, Green, Blue and Blue-green
It does glow well, and seems to print as well as any other PLA I have used. However, it turns brittle with any amount of heat. When I came back after the print was over the filament from the spool to the direct drive had broken. Just the heat rising from the bed and extruder caused the filament to get brittle. The printer head going back to park was enough to cause the brittle filament to break. It broke right at the direct drive making it hard to get out. I ended up taking the filament and trying to bend the next 6-12 inches a little at a time till it stopped snapping off and just bent like normal PLA. From that point it seems okay. But after each print the next 6-12 inches will not be usable, and the filament will break at the head when it returns to the parked position. ... show more
