I feared that this crate would be too large, but it is the perfect 2nd home for my 8 lb pup, and will easily grow with her. (I did have to reassure her that our entire home is still hers, and that this is just her own private additional residence ;) She is accustomed to occasionally using a traditional wire crate in the car, but I think that the two solid walls provide the perfect balance of cave and comfort. (Okay, so I hung a tablet on the wall so she can watch Paw Patrol when she's home alone. She's a baby, and self-soothing only goes so far!) It is amazingly solid and very attractive. The movable door glides smoothly, and the barn door style provides versatility in placement, as I don't have to allow for door clearance. The matte black bars are solid as a rock. I love being able to fill her water (and food) dish from the outside, then rotate in; it has always been such a pain trying to secure a filled water dish into a crate. Assembly was straightforward, with all pieces clearly labeled, holes that lined up correctly, and easy-to-follow instructions. If you have ever assembled other flat pack furniture you know how to do this; If you have not, it is still easy -- but do yourself the favor of going to YouTube and watching a short video on 'cam locks'. They can be counterintuitive the first time you encounter them, and this set up uses a ton of them. Also, proceed gently with inserting fasteners -- the laminate can shatter a tiny bit. (But these spots are inside joints, so it's more a matter of principal, than appearance.) My only disappointment is that in blindly following the instructions, I installed the silver door-lock assemblies on the front. I don't need them, and they look jarringly cheap compared to the quality of the rest of the piece. I can remove them of course, but then I am left with screw holes in laminate. If I wanted to lock the door, I could easily put a dowel into the track of the sliding door. Given the care that seems to have gone into the design of this crate, I am surprised that the developers didn't do that -- It would have been a simple thing to hinge upper and lower dowels into the inset to the left of the fixed door. I am also not crazy about the silver bowl-clamping hardware; I would prefer black to match the other hardware, but that is something I can swap out by myself. At 88 lbs, it is a heavy piece of furniture. Despite the thoughtfully included furniture glides on the bottom, I wanted a little extra ease in moving it -- so I added 4 black, vintage-style, spoked, casters. They look wonderful, and she is not the least bit bothered by the 4-in step .

It's sturdy and well built. Packaging needs to be more robust because mine came in with a crushed corner and the box was in in rough shape. Overall, I'm happy with the product, not happy with the packaging and delivery service.

I have never before seen a dog crate that could also be a TV stand or table, but it is a very clever idea. It is very well made and heavier than it looks. The design is clever, with the house shaped doors on the front that give your pet a nice view while he is relaxing in his place. The right door slides back and forth to give entrance into the crate, but has durable spring flip latches for security at the top and bottom. There is a cute little paw print cut out too. On the right end are 2 adjustable shelves for storing supplies, books or whatever you wish. The left end features a swing-around food and water bowl holder. You can position the bowls to be accessible to the interior or exterior of the crate by lifting the locking pin and rotating the holder to either position, and then locking it back so it doesn’t move. The bottom of the crate is solid and ready for your pet’s favorite blanket or cushion for comfort. It has a nice looking faux woodgrain top in a medium brown color that contrasts nicely with the creamy white crate. The entire crate is made of engineered wood for durability. The crate bars and hardware are black steel and add a stylish accent to the piece. The back of the crate is solid so any cables from a TV are out of reach for your pet and not a temptation. This is a well made and attractive piece of furniture and our dog loves his new bedroom.

The IRONCK dog crate furniture is such a nice upgrade from the basic crates we’ve used before. It feels sturdy and well made, and it honestly looks more like a piece of furniture than a dog crate. The rotating bowl feature has made mealtime much easier. I can turn the bowls from the outside without opening the door, which keeps things cleaner and less chaotic. My border collie can also shift positions comfortably while eating, and cleanup is quick since the bowls are removable. I really like the adjustable side shelves. I use them to store treats, toys, and a few everyday items. This keeps my living room looking a lot more organized. The metal bars are pretty heavy duty, and the sliding barn door with safety locks feels nice and secure, too. What I like the most is how well it blends into the room. The overall design looks really nice, and it can double as a TV stand or side table. Assembly was straightforward, and my husband had it put together in about half an hour. Overall, it’s a sturdy, good-looking crate that works really well for us. I would recommend.
