I bought this to install around my TV. The adhesive is not great but it did work. I had to add additional brackets to hold it better. It's connected to a switched outlet that allows me to turn it on and off via a wall switch, instead of having to use the remote control. One problem I have is that, once I turn the switch off, it won't always turn back on when I turn the switch on. When this happens, it will only turn on w/ the remote control, which kind of defeats the purpose of the wall switch. I'm going to try to reach out to the manufacturer about this issue. The adhesive side protector strip was close to impossible to get off - it ripped and tore and left reside behind that was horrible to try to clear off properly so the adhesive was exposed. After quite a while of working on it, the adhesive side of the light strip was finally exposed, but about 75% of it was no longer tacky and did not stick to the back of the tv. The 25% that did made its removal to send back near impossible as I was working against the clock to do this while the TV wall mount installers were getting the wall mount ready (they recommended I do that because it would be much more difficult to put it on once the tv was mounted. A thoroughly terrible experience - and I would return the product if I could. I am now stuck trying to get it to stay in place using transparent packing tape, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! ... show more
