At first I used the tube to collect the blood but I got a blank test result so I pricked my finger again and poured it on the test directly from my finger and the test started working. I used a pen from the glucose test machines to draw blood, much easier. If you don’t start seeing immediate results, you need more blood or that solution

Convenience
The test was simple and easy.

Quick and simple, had one issue during it but it still worked
This was not a complicated test to do (and it's hard for me to imagine how anyone would find it so). The instructions were simple to follow. The only difficulty that I had was that the little tube that you use to collect blood kept wanting to blow bubbles of my blood into the collection area that it is required to drop it so I had to wipe it off and just drip the blood from my finger directly into the hole. Doing that made me wonder if the test would still work, but it did. I think it would be better if it came with two tests so that there was room for error.

Matched doctor's lab results
As many other people have mentioned, you do have to prick your finger to get a drop of blood for this test. I had no idea so many people were averse to this, and if you are also then this test is not for you. I was looking high and low for an inexpensive at-home iron test so I don't have to go to the doc for bloodwork more often than necessary. I don't mind the needles, I do hate taking time off and waiting and waiting to get in. It took less than 5 minutes to read the directions and take the test. It really is only a single prick and the 1st lancet worked fine although there is a backup just in case. I found this test to be reliable, showing that I'm mildly anemic which is in line with my bloodwork from the doctor. So I can use this to monitor in-between visits!
