It works perfectly for what I need. It's very secure when I put it in the doorway, it has not marred the trim at all. I'm doing P90X and the various handheld positions on the bar are useful. Exactly what I needed. When properly attached it has no movement and is very stable.

I wanted an upgrade from my old door frame pull-up bar and after researching several bars I decided to go with the Iron Age Premium Bar. It is definitely priced well and I can confirm like many others it's very sturdy/well made. Assembly of the bar is very simple as it has very few parts, the hook system is really great and its adjustable so thick or thin door frames it will hold firmly in place. If you need to take it down then it's just as simple to take off. I don't have any Cons for this product. Easy set up. Sticks in the doorframe perfectly no issues except for chipping the paint above the doorframe which I guess I could expect from any brand. Other than that one problem it is great for home workouts when you can’t make it to the gym

thing is super grippy on the doorframe and does not budge regardless of how much you’re flinging around trying to just do one dead hang pull up. i even swing like a monkey every time i walk by and haven’t busted my a** yet. update: 3 pull ups down in 3 months. going for 5 by end of year.

Sturdy and awesome, with a lot of uses and the videos help so much. I love it adjusts for different heights as well because my younger child and my 6’4 son both can use it easily. Super bulky, and if you have drywall, it will damage it. This pull up bar uses two small area braces which results in high pressure. It pushes into the wall and breaks it. Find yourself a pull up bar that has a wide area brace.
