It works perfectly for what I need. It's very secure when I put it in the doorway, it has not marred the trim at all. I'm doing P90X and the various handheld positions on the bar are useful. Exactly what I needed. When properly attached it has no movement and is very stable.

thing is super grippy on the doorframe and does not budge regardless of how much you’re flinging around trying to just do one dead hang pull up. i even swing like a monkey every time i walk by and haven’t busted my a** yet. update: 3 pull ups down in 3 months. going for 5 by end of year.

This pull up bar is much more versatile than previous devices I have owned. The multiple grip points on this bar are ideal for stretching and strengthening the shoulders, arms, and wrists. The loop on the bar is ideal for attaching resistance tubes for stretch/strength workouts. The anchor points are much less stressful on door frames and walls. The tubular steel seems very strong and product assembly was fairly simple. I will have to use the bar for a month or so before I can comment on the product's durability. The extra cushions tore when I tried to slip them over the grips, but overall the device seems to be worth the price...💪✌️👍

Sturdy and awesome, with a lot of uses and the videos help so much. I love it adjusts for different heights as well because my younger child and my 6’4 son both can use it easily. Definitely would recommend to friends. Just be aware of installing the bars backwards because I did that and they’re hard to get out but once they were in right it is amazing.

I wanted an upgrade from my old door frame pull-up bar and after researching several bars I decided to go with the Iron Age Premium Bar. It is definitely priced well and I can confirm like many others it's very sturdy/well made. Assembly of the bar is very simple as it has very few parts, the hook system is really great and its adjustable so thick or thin door frames it will hold firmly in place. If you need to take it down then it's just as simple to take off. I don't have any Cons for this product. Highly recommend for those looking for a good quality bar at a very great price.

First off the instructions they give you make it so hard it took me 30 minutes to put this thing together. I ended up just using my brain instead. They Photoshop the images and they printed it on crappy paper. When doing any type of pull up except the standard one, everything gets in the way. If you’re doing wide grip, you hit your chest on the top and your shoulders. If you’re doing closed grip, rip you hit your elbows on the front support beam. It’s honestly terrible and I hope this product is never purchased by anyone. I won’t even to return it. It’s going in the trash.
