I looked through the reviews, positive and negative, and since the positives were so positive, I took the chance. I can tell you that this tool does NOT work on "20-year old" plumbing unless it's been kept "as new". Wouldn't budge a single nut, whether on the copper tubing or the under-side of the faucet. So, I just added the cost to the expense of having to hire a plumber. If your plumbing is old, don't bother with this. Save time, save money, call a plumber. ... show more

Have changed a handful of faucets. The one I did with this tool was significantly easier and smoother. Only used the basic functions. But it was great for the couple dollars. Probably not for pros but for an amateur this is very good.

    • You need this if you are changing a sink faucet

I had tried, unsuccessfully, to change the sink faucets in my bathroom. The space is tight and difficult to access. This tool makes the job 50% easier. A little experimentation is needed to find which end fits the under sink mounts, but once you find it the job is close to complete.

This was basically a useless tool to me for replacing an old delta faucet. It didn't even seem to fit on any of the fittings that it was supposedly designed to fit on to. As I was trying to remove my old faucet, I was using this to get the faucet nut off, this tool was barely able to latch onto the nut, and while trying to spin the nut, this tool was doing nothing more than twisting and flexing. I was unable to successfully remove my faucet with this tool-- I resorted to cutting the faucet off from the top side. This tool was also entirely useless for installing my new faucet. So, honestly, this tool is crap, and you wont need it. Do not buy it. I saw it used on Ask This Old House, and figured it was a worthwhile tool to get with my new faucet-- I was wrong. ... show more
