I bought this reed diffuser a month ago and still it smells wonderful. I put it in my upstairs hall bathroom for guests and now when I walk upstairs, I am greeted with a nice fine scent of apples and cinnamon about mid-way up the stairs. I've tried using other brands of essential oils in a bowl in a room - but within a short time of it exposed to the air, the scent is gone. The reeds seem to really do a much better job making a room smell nice - and they last a lot longer. As mentioned, they have been in the guest bathroom for a month and less than a quarter of it has evaporated. Sure, reeds can be a bit messier than other methods (you have to turn them over when the scent reduces) so it gets on your hands and nearby surfaces - and they are very oily, of course. I usually have a paper towel handy and do it over a sink. I've enjoyed this reed diffuser so much, I recently ordered another scent from this company for my bedroom.

The product looks exactly as pictured. Very attractive. The fragrance filled the space without being too overpowering, however, it did have an artificial scent to it and it gave me a headache. This may just be my personal sensitivity to it. I did open it and put the reeds in it so I will not be returning it. UPDATE: I am changing my to 5 stars due to the excellent customer service I received. The company reached out to me to offer me a full refund and said they hoped I would give them another try. I did, with a different scent (Lavender and Sandalwood), and I love it. It’s not too floral and not too woodsy, perfectly balanced… and best of all no headache whatsoever. I’ve just ordered another bottle so I can put it in my office!

The item came very well protected so there wasn’t any issues with leakage or breakage. I didn’t have any issues getting the top off. Very simple. The company provides enough sticks to do the job well. Now, the glass bottle itself is very boring. So if you are buying it only for the look, buy something else. But if you’re more worried about scent, it will be fine. I did not receive what the picture showed. There wasn’t any cute little leaf in it and since it’s for decor as well as functionality, I had to take off one star. Now for the most important part, the smell. It was amazing! I bought the gingerbread scent. It was heavenly! It’s so warm and inviting. The scent travels through the space well and when the scent starts to fade I just rotate the sticks and the smell is back. I bought a different brand at the same time I bought this one just to see which is better and even though it isn’t very visually exciting it still wins hands down for amazing smell, staying power, and coverage area.

Since this is Christmastime, I searched and ordered a diffuser that would give that Christmas Tree/Holiday scent we all love at this time of year. Upon opening and setting the reeds in place, the scent was rather faint, but I thought maybe after a day or two the scent would be more noticeable . . . not. So, I placed it in my bathroom, it being a small room thinking the scent would then be noticeable . . . not. I would have to say as well, that it really doesn't smell like a forest - more like a lemony cleaning odor. Instructions say to remove the reeds after a bit and place them the other side down into the bottle of oil for better scent . . . not, and it was a bit of a mess not to get oil dripped on and around the bottle (do it in the sink if you must for easier clean-up). It was a bit pricey compared to a few others, but I was given an Amazon gift card from my sister for my Birthday and am sorry now that this is what I chose to purchase on Amazon. I don't recommend this item; take a real walk in the forest, get yourself a real Christmas Tree and some real pine boughs to decorate with, and then you will have that wonderful scent!

I was not expecting this scent to be so perfume-y. It works better in a larger room with some of the sticks removed where the scent is barely there and doesn't cause a headache. I was hoping that it would be more essential oil and less fragrance. Also, the top of the cork broke off as I "wiggled and pulled" it from the bottle, and I needed pliers to remove it completely, spilling some on my hands. It took several washings to finally get the smell off of my hands. Based on other reviews, I may give them another try with a different scent profile.

The packing and design were fine. The scent itself was gross. We have both lilac bushes and lillies of the valley in our yard and it smells nothing like either. It's like a cheap, spoiled oil/perfume scent. It was meant to be a gift for my grandma who loves lilac but this scent combo is way off.
