I was afraid these wouldn't hold up but they have. They are very comfortable. Just make sure you properly attach some toe guards.

I have had many pairs of Irish setters over the last 10 years. I've seen them outlast more expensive Red Wings. This pair is not it. I've been wearing them about 6 months and they are almost worn out beyond use. In the past I could expect at least a year or 2 out of a pair. Good boots, used at work for approximately 6 months, not for people needing lots of arch support; and doesn’t stand up to heat well. While working used a large burner torch and exposed boots to flame on occasion, boot upper became unfixed to sole.
