Disappointed in the durability for the price I expected a lot more out of these boots given the price tag. After only a year of use, the soles are already in terrible shape and wearing down way faster than they should. They are comfortable, but the build quality just doesn't justify the cost if I have to replace them ... show more

They r heavy guys. They r tight even in ee at 1st so un-lace them a good amount, and tighten them up confortably to your feet. They have become very comfortable almost a little to wide. Great boots, just wish they had a tactical side zipper!!!!!!

I've owned many pair of boots, wearing them everyday for the majority of my life. Most of my jobs have been outside, including landscaping, forestry, parks and recreation, etc, as well as going hiking and camping regularly. With that being said, these are some of the best boots I have ever owned. These are perfectly suited for work outdoors or even in a factory. As for the specifics.. These boots have a hard toe that is NOT metal, so they are slightly more forgiving if your toe brushes against them. Also, they won't set off metal detectors if you're going through airport security. The heel of the boot is also rigid, which protects the Achilles of your foot. The shoe size is also accurate. I normally wear between US 11 and 11.5. I always order 11.5 first, which is what I did with these boots, and they fit great. Just enough space for the toes to not press against the hard toe guard but not so much space that my foot shifts around. These boots exhude quality; a thick shell, Vibram soul, breathable interior, thick stitching, string laces, etc. Of all the boots I've owned in my life these are among the top! And that's saying allot since I've spent thousands of dollars over the years, even buying exotic Yak leather boots, always trying to find the best boot for my lifestyle. I've yet to find a problem with these and can recommend them to anyone looking for a durable boot with all the safety and comfort you'd come to expect of a boot at this pricetag. The brand is respected and reputable, known for their high quality. I have no agenda with this review. These in my opinion are like the Mercedes Benz of boots....they are super high quality...definitely they are put together with care and pride. These ran true to size which is great....I'm actually in-between a 10.5 and 11 but usually opt for the 11 which for the most times work to my benefit but I've had shoes/boots run big but these are spot on. They are heavy...they really weigh a lot more than i'm used to. They have non metal safety toe but you'd swear it's metal....Puncture resistance, heat resistance and are waterproof and 8" high so they are way above your ankles for additional protection. The bottom soles are great with gripping...no slip! These are very comfortable too. Lots of cushy stuff inside but my foot did feel a little tight. I loosened the laces up a bit and that helped a little. They also need to be broken in a bit because i'm not able to bend them yet when walking or squatting on my toes. They will be a little clunky for a while...going up stairs i got asked if I was Frankenstein.....lol Definitely for working outside whether it be in the yard, construction or other work needs where you want top of the line protection and comfort.
