Very well built boots, nice quality leather and materials. A little snug to start with but it's really good leather so it will stretch a little to the nice fit. They are a little heavy but you can't have it all.

I'm quite impressed with these Edgerton XD mid-rise soft toe boots from Irish Setter. The leather upper is very supportive and the soft toe gives a bit more added protection when knocking around in these. They're quite comfortable, although it's taken a bit of wearing to really get used to the flex range of these boots. I do think the 10 wide pair I picked up isn't quite as wide at the middle of my foot as I'd expected. I might benefit from going up to a 10.5 wide, which is a size I often wear in a more padded Merrell wide shoe. I think the sizing is quite close but maybe where I'm wide isn't where Irish Setter scales up as much. I did notice the logo alignment markings were showing on my boot, which seemed like a grease pen marking on the leather as it didn't come off with a wet paper towel but was able to be cleaned off with some mild kitchen cleaner. Not a big deal but I doubt that was intended to be visible in the end product. The included shoelaces are barely long enough to ues all the hooks on the boot upper, but if you leave out a hook there's plenty of length.

Great quality, both outside and inside look very high end and strong. My husband was semi drooling when I asked if he wanted me to get these boots.. he put them on the second they arrived and love how they look and feel. The sizing was spot on and exactly what we ordered, the fit is perfect. The treads are thick and work on all surfaces.. we haven’t tried ice though as we haven’t had any lately but snow, rain, mud, concrete, gravel etc have all been easy to navigate in these boots. Very happy with them!!!

I have many work boots, but I had never used the Irish Setter brand before. It was a familiar name to me, but I hadn't had the chance to try it out. Firstly, the production quality is incredible. Excellent craftsmanship and superb results. It's a boot that exudes quality from start to finish. Naturally, it's heavier than ordinary boots. In terms of comfort, I can say it provides the same comfort as casual boots. The day after I received my order, I went out with these boots, and I thought I could use them both in the office and in the warehouse because of their beautiful design. Despite being on my feet all day, they didn't cause any discomfort. The sole is very thick, the inside of the boot is designed very tastefully, and it hugs my feet perfectly. Very sturdy, very high quality, very durable, a perfect 10 out of 10!

Really impressive boots. I usually prefer lightweight boots day to day as I don't often find myself needing work boots, but I'm doing some renovations right now that would be dangerous were I to wear a thin, light pair of Clarks desert boots. Given the bulk and added protection these boots are surprisingly comfortable. They are, of course, heavier than I'm accustomed to, so they take a little time to feel good, but once I've grown used to the extra weight on my feet they feel great. There's plenty of cushioning, so despite the extra weight I feel like I'm walking on air. I especially like the Armatec toe protection. I've one steel toe boots in the past and they really didn't work for me, but the thick Armatec layer gives me a similar degree of protection without the weight. Of course the soft toe won't help me much if I drop a cinder block right on my foot, but the extra layer of protection is good enough for day to day use. Easy five stars. These are crazy high quality.
