  • Worth every $$$
Size: 11 Color: Brown
my husband loves these boots. These have been his go to work boots the past several years they hold up for a good year before he has to replace. He is a trucker and haul’s fuel so the things that he walks through will eat through the soles of his boots. He used to have to buy a new work boots every couple of months when he used to buy cheaper ones. But these hold up for a good year definitely worth the money. ... show more

  • Irish settler is a good brand but I do not recommend this model
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Brown
I’ve never had vibram soles wear out this fast, I ordered these in February and by the end of April they were worn though at the heel and toe, had a hole in the arch and the welt was separating from the boot which voided the waterproofing. I work in utilities and normally go through several pairs of boots per year, so I understand my job is rough on boots but anything with vibram soles usually lasts almost a full year before needing to be re-soled, but these didn’t even last 4 months ... show more

  • Beautiful boot, poor design
Size: 11 Wide Color: Black
This is a beautiful boot, I wish they were designed properly. I normally wear a 10.5 wide, I received the boot, I almost tore the pull strap off the back getting my foot inside. I returned and ordered an 11 wide, I couldn't even get my foot in the opening. These are beautiful boots, but if you don't have a narrow foot, you're not getting in these boots. I'm very disappointed. ... show more

  • Well Made
Size: 13 Color: Brown
I purchased these for my Son and he said they are very comfortable - just what he was looking for. It also is hard to find a size 13 in the store. Well made - good purchase

  • Very sturdy workboots
Size: 10 Color: Black
Sturdy is about the most accurate word I can think of to describe these boots, as they are quite substantial. I've had less expensive work boots, the kind that would wear out after a year or so, and these are like a tank compared to those. They are built along the lines of my last pair of Wolverines. I just can't see them wearing out for a long time. They are comfortable to wear and stand in, but they are work boots and are nowhere near as comfortable as fashion or athleisure-boots would be. I have a pair of Nike boots that cost about 20 dollars less than these did, and they feel like that would fall apart, comparatively, if you looked at them too hard. But those ones ARE comfortable. They are very different boots and if you expect any work boot like these to feel like something you'd get anywhere other than a professional work supply, you're going to be disappointed. One thing I'll add, is that the insole is removable and while it's okay, there are much better options out there. I'm a big fan of Hefe Luxx insoles - they are the same type "boost" material that Adidas uses in its Ultraboost line, and they make ANY pair of shoes immediately feel better...even boots. The leather feels nice and is as high quality as some of my more expensive "real" boots, without the aesthetic polish. The main difference is, clearly, the design is entirely functional. It has a directly attached welt, not Goodyear, so it is not sewn-on, and if there is a failure point on these boots, it will probably be here. That being said, only time will tell and from outward appearances it seems very substantial. I can understand why they chose to go with a composite toe and TPU shank instead of steel, as the boots are already quite heavy, and I can't imagine how much more they would be with metal innards. I'm okay with this trade off, because a more cumbersome shoe that offers "great" stability/durability/protection could potentially be more dangerous than one that is easier to wear and maneuver, while still offering "good" stability/durability/protection. I like these boots, and I think they'll last for a long time. They are expensive, but I think they're worth it. Potentially the only drawback I see is the welt, and there's no way to know if the method they used in manufacturing will last. All considered, I think they're a solid buy. ... show more
