I've owned a large number of Red Wing and Irish Setter boots in the past 15 years and they've all been comfortable from the beginning, these included. They're light, really light. Since I've had a bunch of Red Wings already, the sizing was spot on as always. I chose these boots in particular because they were hot weather, and they work for exactly that. Excellent. Lightweight. Comfortable. Also i don't ever leave reviews. And I've had the boots for a few months so not long, but already paid for themselves absolutely. Only complaint is how long they took to arrive, but I'm sure there's a reason for that.

Size may be a 1/2 size small for me but with proper socks works well. Great to walk/hike in. Love the Bolo lace system along with being very lightweight and waterproof.

Toes came loose within 3 days of wearing. Eventually I cut it off. Like the laces but toes are guaranteed to fall apart
