19 quart version. A *big* step above box store alternatives. Very well designed, sturdy and perhaps most importantly, four latches and a lid with a gasket. Most storage tubs I've seen or own do not have weather seals and only two latches. Some don't even have separate latches. Once sealed and the latches clamped, zero chance of the lid shifting when stacked or otherwise. The gasket in combination with the latches will keep out moisture, make it harder if not impossible for insects to invade when storing in a shed for example. It will also keep out environmental smells. If you're storing things in an unfinished and humid basement or shed for example, this is important. Side note about the gasket: it's very effective but will also prevent air and residual moisture from escaping. Barely an issue most of the time but I'd recommend using desiccants. If you're storing irreplaceable photos, paperwork, books, clothing, etc, descants are cheap insurance for things like mold and mildew. Using the word 'quality' can be tricky but that's how I would describe this. A bit heftier than many other storage tubs, no rattles of flex when sealed and very good quality ribbed plastics which make stacking these easy and worry free. This is my second one, the first perhaps 8yrs old and used in a garage. Still looks and functions like new. If I had to find something to gripe about, occasionally a latch will detach when opening the tub. This has only happened a few times over a period of years. When that happens, nothing broke. They snap back into place quickly and easily. Great product and great price. Kudos to the design and manufacturing staff. Well done.

When i ordered part of my decision was based on it being next day delivery and I waited at the drop address all day because I didnt want any chance of something going wrong so when I got an email at the end of that day saying it was delayed and wouldnt get to me for approx 6 more days I was far from pleased. Luckily it didnt take quite that long but it did take 5 days from the order date. I was also concerned because all of the negative complaints were due to them arriving damaged during shipping. I figured how messed up can they get overnight. Thankfully they came in perfect condition and they are exactly what I wanted. I do plan on getting more. They seem to be what they claim as far as keeping everything out, im confident that they will. They are alot more than the ones without the multiple clips and seels but the piece of mind is worth it. Several reviews mentioned a strong odor from them initially but I didnt notice any smell from mine. They have good stackability, they are not overly heavy or awkward to carry. The lids easily snap into place.

UPDATE: Don't buy these Used on Amazon, even if it's labelled as "Very Good". I feel like maybe I don't understand "Used" on Amazon as apparently a lot of the things I've tried to get Used are DAMAGED. My latest (and third) order of these had three broken lids, one of them was majorly broken while the other two featured breakage on the plastic support bits. Unless you only want to pay for 5 bins (because the 6th will be basically unusable) with two of them having damaged lids, avoid Used. UPDATE 2: The replacement I ordered (that was supposed to be NEW) is also damaged, this time it's the bins. I contacted IRIS USA about the lids earlier, and the company is pretty hands-off—basically they don't sell replacement lids or just bins, so they recommend doing the return-and-replace method. Their customer service feels lacking. Most of the time for me, this wouldn't be a problem—but I have been trying to pack for a big move and really needed these bins in particular for certain items. Now the UPCOMING replacement is getting here in 1 WEEK and that's not soon enough. I'm removing a star, and if the next shipment is also damaged, another. This sucks, I don't understand what's happening. Maybe it's just super bad luck but it couldn't have come at a worst time. Also the lukewarm customer support reply from IRIS USA has kind of turned me off. If the third order of bins is damaged in anyway, I am giving up and buying other bins instead. These used to be so good. ORIGINAL REVIEW: These are really expensive but I really prefer them. I've bought them twice, the first time YEARS ago. I store things like camera gear and equipment plus the typical basement storage stuff. I feel like they fit a really good amount of stuff, rarely did something I own not fit into it in some way (usually they were really long things like rulers. I haven't personally had any problems with these but they don't get handled roughly. They are EXCELLENT for moving and are less curvy and not tapered like cheaper plastic bins you get at Walmart or Target or something - making them excellent for stacking. At about 5 bins, a stack does jiggle a little but I don't think it would fall over. 4 bins stacked are very sturdy. I really liked these so I had to buy more after a few years, but yes, the price is a little sweat-inducing. The negatives are small but I should mention them... I do think the foam seals are/can be a little wonky on a few of the bins, but I would hope they are easy to replace in the event that they deteriorate, become warped,or are damaged. To me they look pretty much like weather sealant strips you could get at the hardware store. The second minor gripe I have with these are that, while there are four latches on each bin going length-wise, the fact that there aren't any on the short sides sometimes make those short sides seem not...sealed enough. If that makes sense. All the security and tight seal are emphasized on the long edge, which I understand and theoretically it makes total sense, but I just noticed that the sides without latches on them have a questionable seal. Only time will tell if this gets better or worse or is just not a big deal. Still seems to work fine.

I use these for my 3D printer filament, the capacity is great, fitting over eight spools per ease. I laid some pvc at the bottom for spacers and added desiccant, the seal has been holding great, keeping humidity under control.

The lids! The lids and the handles ! Please make the lids more durable on these IRIS Weatherpro bins! Also, the handles keep snapping off, and the sides of lids stay permanently out of shape if there’s even a small amount of over-packing. Cardboard boxes have flexibility, so you can overpack them a bit with no problem. But for the price, please make the lids more durable and the handles a permanent fixture on either the box itself or the lid itself. I should give 5 stars because I depend so heavily on these bins for storage. They’re one of the few boxes that are acid free and weatherproof for long-term storage of delicate heirlooms. Lineco is just way too expensive and not waterproof.
