I've bought a lot of these Iris products over the years, and I agree the quality control has dropped. I didn't have any breakage on my most recent order, but some of the latches were separated from the lids. I believe over time, this may shorten the lifespan of the product, and I believe this was the result of packing and not the construction (only the top unit was affected). by the time this item arrived, two lids were broken. i cannot tell if it was the shipper's fault or the distributor's fault [my experience says that it is the shipper's fault]. the lids are not broken in such a way as they are ruined; i can still use them, and they will still seal, so i won't be returning them. overall, seems like a great product, and cost-effective is paramount for me. :) ... show more

I sent them all the information they asked for, and I never heard from them again. The person on the email was Rebecca Hensley. I want to warn others. Seal seems secure. They are sturdy and stack well. The weatherproof liner is coming out of one of the 6 we have but can be pressed back in easily. Wheels are sturdy enough. Other weather/dust proof bins are much more expensive so pleased with these. Would buy again.

I bought a set of these containers about 2 years ago and they were great. Arrived intact, all handles attached properly. I've tried ordering 3 different sets now only to return them all due to badly drilled holes, broken plastic, and handles that just won't stay on.
