I love the @IRIS airtight containers. I use mine for my potting soil mixes. I have one for my Tropical plants and one for succulents. They have been the best purchase I've made to.store my plantsing soils in! They are completely airtight and keep my soils fresh! Plus they come with a large scoop with measurements on it and that's great for making soil and having the exact same parts of everything I put in them and I really like that! They are dog food containers but can literally be used for anything you don't want air exposed to. These containers are great quality. They're very sturdy. I use them for cat food and parrot food. They keep the food fresh and bug free. There's no chemical odor to them. I'm very happy with them and recommend them if you want a good quality product.

Unit came in good shape and opened and closed. Not much more to it. I didn’t see much on how many days or what quantity you could store inside. I feed my dog in half cups and came to 50 and still had room. For the larger dogs that would be 25 cups of food with some room to spare.

The first container came missing the handle and it was not in the box. The company promptly sent another one out and when I received it I was concerned because the handle was off. After looking in the box it looked like it came off. I put it back together and it is working as intended now.

They work for what I need but don't expect air tight. I ordered three sets of two and noticed on the first one that there was an air-sucking sound when I closed the lid. Not a huge issue as food items in it were still in plastic packaging. I investigated the others and found that the gasket around the "seal" is not a complete circle, but has a 1/4"-3/8" gap between the ends on most of them. People should know that if expecting air tight as the listing says. Otherwise, size and quality of the plastic and latch are as expected. The scoop was a nice addition, but I won't be storing loose items in this because of the gasket issue. ... show more
