Original box damage, taped, and put into another box to ship?....gouged side (not all the way through) of a base and one chipped/cracked edge of lid. Other then that decent sturdy bins

Probably Amazon's responsibility? Not sure. Whoever packs these needs to put a little more thought into it. I've purchased these twice + both times most of the order (lids + containers) arrived broken + cracked, usually only one or two out of six can be used. If they were packed/shipped with more care (they had zero cushioning in the box - none), that'd be better for everyone. I ended up gettng a partial refund, as what's the point in sending back broken product (I sent photos of the damage). The two that were usable from this last order work as intended - I really like that they're see-through + keep everything dust free + tidy. And that they're stackable. Liked the variety of sizes and that they are clear, but as I have worked through the boxes of these containers that I've purchased, I have continued to find broken latches that won't stay on, and bins with cracked or broken corners; top and bottom, even though the box they come in is inside another shipping box. Frustrated with how fragileI these seem to be before they are even put to use, I've sent back my most recent purchase and will try to find some that can survive being shipped.. ... show more

I guess it's Hit or Miss whether you receive all of the handles or not ordered a set of six and missing one set of handles the lids fit without the handles but they just don't lock and I have no idea how to reach out to customer service for Iris to get the handles and in reviewing the above statements it looks like customer service is of no help anyway ... show more
