Pros- excellent value and customer service. Works great. FYIs- I’ve had a few problems with this purchase. My item came with both fluorescent tubes broken. I called their customer support and they answered immediately and followed up with emails to resolve the problem. I will receive new bulbs in 3 to 5 days. If the light works, it’s an incredible value for 30 bucks. The other issue is the plastic connectors are too big to go into the pipes so it took a rubber mallet to force them in. They were so tight it sheared off some of the plastic. I did eventually get it all connected, but this unit does not fold and will probably never come apart in 1 million years. I got the shorter version with the T legs and the two fluorescent tubes. Other reviews keep talking about a folding unit. That’s not what this one is. I could’ve actually used it a little shorter, but then I’m growing violets. I have no issues with the pulley system that raises and lowers the light fixture. Actually, I think it’s very effective. If I decide to take the light fixture off the stand, I will be able to do that and attach it to shelves. There are spaces for hooks on the top so you could put in a chain and S hooks. You could just use the cord that it came with on a wire shelf. If this works when the T5 tubes are replaced, I’ll be buying a couple more. I didn't like that the string came off and the light fell down. I was, however, able to figure out how to put it back on there and get it up on my own. I do believe the light is really stron for no taller than it is. Some of the leaves are dying and turning brown.

2 tube lights are bright especially under the reflective hood. Love that part…but…The instructions said the pieces of the frame should fit snugly together. I couldn’t get it together any better than i can get my life together. It was too snuggly but not clingy. So i went caveman with my mallet hammer and hwacked the pieces on but half the foot broke off. So instead of having four feet mine has three. I have the light set on top of my 20gal aquarium that i grow my clones in and they love the new light. The frame sits on the floor in front. Totally in the way. Still a good deal for the fixture alone so im not too upset about it. I try to stick with ipower supplies for my grow setup but this will haunt my buying decisions in the future. ... show more

I like everything about this except the stop that sets the height. It's cheap and doesn't hold the string great, I tie the string around the top to get it to stop at the height I want and not slide down. Other than that though it's a great light.
