This is a very good product. The price made me question it's longevity. I do have it on a speed controller, I do not run it full blast 24/7, or 24/7 at all for that matter. I use it to ventilate my 3D printing fume tent. I don't print all the time, but have been using the fan for 17 months at the time of the review. The only thing I believe it needs is a little bit of grease, but even if I didn't add any, it's performance has not or would not be affected. I can just hear that it should be greased in my opinion. Got this fan just in time for thanksgiving dinner. It worked great. It was nice and quiet and moved enough air. Then last night, after almost three months of use, it suffered an uncontained turbine failure on startup. As near as I can tell, the housing spontaneously separated and fell into the impeller, fracturing it and ejecting a piece that flew across the kitchen. I don't recall the housing at the time of installation being as loose as it is now. If I were to buy another one of these, I think i would wrap the housing seam with tape to prevent this from occurring. I was pleased with the product until it spontaneously shredded itself with all the fervor of an emo goth who's mom won't let 'em wear their spiked collar to school. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for the price, it straight up sucks and blows smoke from laser engravers very well, and it is a bit loud but not too bad, and it is easy to move if it is not mounted, the only problem is there are some air leaks in the frame for me, so just put some installation tape over it. ... show more

Needed this for a small solar heater I put together for a little cheap supplemental heat in my living room. I am using some flexible ducting and a couple toilet flanges to run everything and can easily run 85 to 90 degree air into the room through a 24"X48" collector with the outside air around 40 degrees.
