The fan is really weak so you shouldn't use this for getting the heat out of your tents, the carbon filter is junk, the discharged air still stinks like what ever you have in your tent. I got this just for my curing tent to keep the stink down. Avoid this, buy a steel cased fan and a carbon filter from AC infinity never look back. ... show more

Air leaks out the side. I thought it was going to break when I put the hose clamps on. Almost no power, definitely not strong enough to pull air through a filter, barely enough to give my plants a breeze. Save ur time and money and buy a fan that works...,period

Weak. Not powerful for a 4 inch inline also rattles. Sometimes it controls the smell. But after watering your plants and the true smell comes out, this little 4 inch fan will do no justice in a 2×4 grow tent!!!

I love them smell of good skunks stinky but my neighbor's might not...seems to be working no odor. Fairly quite and easy to hook up. Used as an exhaust fan I still needed to add another fan to circulate the air as this fan doesn't move a lot of air.

Using this as an exhaust fan for a work space UV Resin and acid dyes are used. It's also not a 4" port more like 3.5" had to use flexible venting, a hose clamp, and foil tape because it's so much smaller than a 4" flex vent hose. Have a BASICZBR3 (Sonoff zigbee inline switch) and sonoff button on the way, that I'll be using to turn it on and off easier since the only way to control it now is by physically disconnecting the power (pulling the plug). Even if it only moves half the air it will work and is still less than a typical exhaust fan. ... show more

I just opened my kit to assemble it this morning and got to the final part of hanging and fitting the filter to notice the flange opening to the filter is slightly larger than 4 inches causing the 4 inch hose to not fit. I tested it against the flange of the fan which fits the hose perfectly and the filter flange is approx 1/4 inch bigger then the fan flange... what a waste of money, I cant use this filter and now have to go buy another one. I will never buy this brand again! ... show more

So if you are like me you saw this package deal and thought it was a deal. The fan is all but worthless. It broke 10 seconds after I turned it on. One of the blades couldn't even handle normal operations for 10 seconds and snapped off. Now I have to buy a new fan to fit and that will take up the money I supposedly saved with this junk. ... show more

Bought 2 of these and a Y-connector to replace the massively loud stock exhaust fan on my Glowforge laser. Super quiet with slightly better airflow! The exhaust sound level is now less than the sound from the motors that move the laser inside the Glowforge.
