I had actual in-clinic hair removal the expensive kind. Those of you who have also had it know that its not 100% and touchups are often needed. I also did not do my whole body I didn't want to pay that crazy amount again for touch-ups. I am not a really hairy person, to begin with, and have been epilating prior to starting this. I have been using this twice a week now for about 6 weeks now. I have to admit that some weeks I only did it once because I forgot or was too lazy to shave. I have noticed that it is working. I still have hair but I know that the cycle of hair growth means I will be doing this for a while before I start to notice even less hair. After reading the reviews here and other research online I found that it is best to flash the site 3x per treatment. So I go back and forth along each section 3x The instructions also suggest doing a little overlap I only do that in the sections where I have more hair. So far the most painful place is the lips down below, but it is not as painful as the professional laser, it just seems worse because you are doing it to yourself rather than someone else doing it to you. I can tolerate the highest setting and the continuous flashing feature is really nice so you are not constantly clicking the button. The cooling is nice too. I run it for a long time since I am doing 3 zaps per area for my legs, arms, underarms, and down below. It does not have a problem running that long. Be sure to wear the glasses to protect your eyes. The light does flash through the holes used for the fan too. I really like this I do have a feeling I might not be as patient with it if I had not already done real professional hair removal. I have light skin and very dark, thick hair. I absolutely HATE shaving and have been known to go months without doing it because it's such a hassle. So I figured I might as well try this product out for $100. I was skeptical, but I'm 6 weeks in now and my knees, inner thighs, and feet are all but hairless and my leg hair is growing back sooo slowly. There are whole patches on my lower legs that are nearly hairless too. It's painless if used as directed, easy to do, and takes about 20 minutes for me to do lower legs, knees, feet, inner thigh, and belly (I timed it). I did 2-3x a week on level 4 for the first 4 weeks, now I'm at 1-2x a week on level 4 for my lower legs and level 3 for everywhere else. Honestly can't recommend this product enough! My husband purchased this for me for my birthday as I had been talking about getting one. I was worried it would be hot and painful and something to get used to. It was actually neither, and a soothing sensation once I began to use. Im using it mainly for my under arms, I have just started so im eager to see how it does over time. My initial use has left me very impressed, these things can cost alot and get out of control with the price very fast. Im happy knowing my husband did not break the bank and I have a quality product. I received this today and have been really impressed. The prep instructions and settings card were clear and easy to follow. I love how the settings card is also durable and won’t easily break. The packaging is also very nice and will help keep the laser and cords in good condition. I love the variety of settings to auto pulse or for manual use. I started on the lowest setting due to nervousness of pain but as I went up through the setting I never experienced any pain just warmth. This was easy to use and protective eye wear is really cute as well. I will make sure to post updates on hair removal over the next few weeks but I am loving this product! ... show more

I have fair skin and medium brown hair. I am in my early 50’s and wanted to use this before my hair turns gray. It works great! I send it twice a week as directed and I would say hair regrowth is about 90% less now and I am not done yet, Get a loofah or butt puff body to exfoliate well. This was such a time saver as shaving is greatly reduced and soon will be zero. I was a little skeptical at first since I I got it at such an affordable price. My sister paid over a thousand dollars to get hers professionally done, so my expectations were low. I have PCOS, so I am self conscious about my hair. I used it for 8 weeks on my toes, belly and arm pits.
