I have had these Boots for 2 months and they have performed well. They are all leather and seem to be very well-built. The fit is good and it seems that there are no weak points in the construction. I am a former US Army infantry soldier, and Iโve always worn boots over the past 35 years. I know when boots are good, and when they are not good, I have owned other boot brands and they have fallen apart or you find weak points in the construction. These boots are definitely worth the money so far. I will come back and do another second part to this review after Iโve had them for a longer period of time to give you an idea of how long they hold up and if there are any weak points or problems. I recommend them if you need an answer today. I have owned Response Gear (RG), Smith & Wesson, Bates , Corcoran and many other brands. I am hard on my Boots. Part 2 coming soon

I walked 3 to 5 miles, sometimes further, pretty much every day for over a year in my last pair. Over all sorts of terrain. I would still be using my first pair but I wore a hole in the bottom of one under the ball of my foot. I've never worked a boot that hard. Normally the leather or some other part gives way first. I wouldn't really classify these are "combat-ready" boots, as I don't know if I would count on the zipper holding up to quite those riggers as they are the normal plastic. But if you're looking for an "everyday" wear for quick hikes, I definitely recommend them.

I bought these boots to wear on duty as a fireman. They are perfect. Easy to shine, great fit, and very professional looking. I love the side, zippers, and the inner lining that keeps water out, even when the zipper is down. These are a great value And I will definitely buy them again when itโs time to replace them.

It's not strongly oil resistance. Be careful you can slip and fall on water with oil. Not good for restaurant work. Yet i like the boots for some reason. I thought the boots work for restaurant work not so. So I'm very cautious in the kitchen .

I've been buying the steel toe work boot variety for a couple of years now. That work version stands up to a very harsh work environment. My old pair of everyday walking around boots gave up the ghost, so I tried these. They fit well according to sizing criteria and are comfortable to spend all day walking around. I've been a retired Firefighter since 2008, and am used to wearing Chippewau Boots. These "come close", but are a little harder to get on (with no loop in the back), and a little more snug than my other boots. I probably should have ordered a size larger.

Great boots for the price ! Wears like a tennis shoe. Not 100% the replacement I was looking for as they have the "waterproof" pleather piece at side zippers. Great if you like that , slight annoyance if you don't. Add a $10 pair of insoles if you're a tall chunky butt like me and you're set. They've lasted thru 2 rain storms on motorcycle so far , very slight moisture made it's way through. ๐

Bottom line: I really like these boots. I own a lot of boots (not really sure how that happened...) and these are the ones I wear most often by far. They're my second pair of SWAT/tactical-type boots, and my favorite of the two. I like(d) them enough that I'm giving them 5* despite the fact that they didn't even last a year before the heel wore out. Everything else about the boots seems to still be going strong. Maybe I drag my heels or something? At $65, however, I still consider them a good deal. I'd have liked them to have lasted a year...in fact, since I don't wear them much in the summer, I supposed I'd have to say that they lasted *significantly* less than a year. But, again, here I am, giving them...well, let's say: 4 1/2 stars...
