With the help of the online video assembly wa straightforward, although somewhat time consuming and a left me worn out. The furniture is very sturdy, and looks great. The mattress is a bit hard when used as the couch cushion. I plan to use a gel mattress topper for sleeping on. The drawers are on rollers and are not attached to the frame, which I prefer. They are easy to open or move out of the way. The side rest are very sturdy and provide lots of room for remotes, books, etc. If you like a couch you can sink into, this is not for you, but if you like a stylish, functional futon couch this is what yu are looking for. ... show more

We were in need of a very comfortable futon that was easy to fold up and we found it. Perfect for our guest room and even have grandmas approval! We did end up purchasing a pillow topper for maximum comfort but that was really us just being extra. I will say putting it together is a little tricky- I was grateful to be setting this up with my very handy husband that's for sure!
