This chair is fairly comfortable. The seat is a little hard. I figure after I sit in it more it might soften up. The heat and message are nice. If you're expecting a really good message, don't. You can feel it,but not like a messaging seat pad. I do wish it laid back a little further. I'm having back surgery in a couple months and was hoping if I needed to I could sleep in it. Overall, it is a nice chair and would recommend buying it, if you're okay with the small details I did not like about it. My cats love it, if that helps. (: I need to revise part of my statement about the message. I kind of jumped the gun about the message. The message is good, you just have to pick the right mode for your needs.

My mom just got a hip replacement. The bone was dying and she has osteoporosis and was so uncomfortable and in so much pain for days. There was nothing that gave any relief but this chair was a godsend. She’s been singing praises about this chair. I would add a video of how much she loves it but she’s still vain about her looks. It’s so comfortable and so much easier to get her up and down. She’s also been sleeping in it like actually sleeping so I could also sleep because she’d be up all night and end up needing something. It got to the point that I started dreaming of it

I have a relative that is 92 yrs young. she still gets around with her walker but she has trouble sometimes getting up from a chair. He leg muscles are weakening. This chair really helps for that. You may to do a few test runs, because I notice she got a little nervous when it started to lift her upright. But as long as someone was there when she tried it, she felt better about it. Now she does it all on her own. It just gave her a bit more independence! It's very important at her age!.. Thank you!

Easy to assemble and disassemble. Not the most comfortable - in fact it's a pretty hard cushion on the seat and back. The seat is pretty deep for shorter legs. My mom was 5'2" and I had to pin a pillow on the back to get her knees to the right spot. The fabric started showing a lot of wear on the arms after only 6 months. Looked like cats had been scratching it. But it did the lifting job well.

This review is being written by Michael's wife. My husband bought me this chair for a surgery that I just had. This chair is perfect! I just had an open abdominal surgery and this chair is such a blessing. I had high expectations that it would be a help, but this chair has surpassed those expectations. I have a difficult time getting in and out of the bed and our couch, even the hospital bed was a challenge. This chair had helped me immensely! I am so grateful! I did not think I would even use the USB plug. However, the location is perfect and I have been using it the entire time. I love the color and the texture of the fabric for this hair! It is a soft fabric and I love sleeping in it! The size is perfect for me. I am 5'4 and unfortunately 200lbs. (I have short legs and a long torso.) The cup holders are very handy (Cell phone in one and shaker bottle of water in the other) and the side pockets are perfect for a clipboard of paper. I like jotting down notes on paper, when I prefer not to clutter up stuff in my cell phone. The clipboard of paper allows me to do just that and it slides easily into the side pocket. This review may be more than anyone wants to know, but I am thrilled with this purchase and wanted to share. Only negative was the shipping on the chair. The bottom half arrived initially and there was a long wait for the top half, but in my opinion, well worth the wait! Buyer beware: It arrives in two boxes and this could happen to you also, so just be prepared for such an incident. Again, worth the wait in my opinion!

I bought this for my mom who is 5’. It is comfortable while being supportive. It was easy to put together. I like that you can have your feet up without having to fully recline. It has a fairly long cord. The heat and massage is a really nice bonus, considering the price of the chair. I think the fabric is comfortable and it seems like it is sturdy.
