  • Would recommend
I've used it twice now. Sturdy and does the job. It constantly emits a low hum, but its not disruptive. On the second use the water hose wasn't working, however they provided replacement parts that made it a simple fix, now its working again. Pretty easy to use. I like that you can hatched different sized eggs in it too. ... show more

  • Best inexpensive incubator
The media could not be loaded. This is the best cheap incubator you can get. It maintains temperature and humidity really well and it is very accurate. It turns the eggs well as long as you don’t overcrowd them and you can set different size eggs at the same time because you determine the width of each column. There are two special and awesome things about this incubator. It is the most clear and open incubator I’ve ever seen, you can see everything. Also, it is the only cheap incubator I’ve seen that controls humidity like the way more expensive Brinsea- with a tube into a bottle of water that pulls up drops of water, not an upside down water bottle. This allows the incubator to maintain a much more stable humidity. It’s super easy to use, I will share my silly user error, though, even though it’s embarrassing if I save some eggs, it’s worth it-***when you set the day counter you are setting the length of incubation, not the day of incubation you are on. This means that if you are changing settings on day 3 and you set the day counter to 3, the incubator will immediately go into lockdown, not turn the eggs, and turn off after about five days thinking that it’s three day long incubation is complete. I’ve hatched out lots of babies in this. Don’t spend $120 on one of the 24 egg incubators, spend a little more and get a way better one. The difference in quality is way more than the difference in price. Good luck! ... show more

  • Easy set up and operation
The media could not be loaded. Edit: This thing has twice now failed to incubate correctly. I don’t know if it’s fluctuating too much in temp or what but the first batch was completely dead. I tried a second group, double checked all the settings again and everything seemed fine. Pulled out almost 90% of what I had in there tonight. I may have to put in a temp tracker to see what’s going on because I have zero clue at this point and my other 3 incubators have been hatching eggs from my same breeding pens without issues. Wish I could return but I’m past the return window. Save yourself the frustration and buy something better. Incubator came with easy to read instructions and set up was quick. Adjusting the settings was simple and I allowed the incubator a couple of hours to run before checking the temperature. I used a meat thermometer which I calibrated against boiling water and ice/cold water and found the values to be correct. Next, I inserted the thermometer into one of the ventilation holes and gave it about 5 minutes to stabilize. I found that temperature setting on the incubator was off by about 3.5-4.0 degrees F. I lowered the setting on the incubator about half a degree at a time until the thermometer found the 100.0F. I did take additional temps around the incubator and there is some variability. I usually surround my incubators with a heavy fleece blanket, comforter, or towels to help keep and maintain constant temperatures so that’s what the black object is in the video. My incubators bounce back a lot faster too after opening so the disruption to incubation is minimal. You just need to be careful not to cover the ventilation holes. I haven’t checked the hygrometer yet but the reading seemed very similar to the Nuture Right 360 I have running empty and without water right next to it (about 21-25%). This thing is BIG and holds a LOT of eggs, especially if you’re running bantam or smaller sizes. Lane sizes are customizable so you can utilize every inch of space. I loaded up some eggs last night and have 8-9 Silkie and Satin eggs per lane and 7-8 Svart Hona per lane. It hums at about the same level as the other incubators I have, maybe slightly louder but it’s unnoticed behind a closed door. The humidity alarm is a little annoying and should have a shut off option, but again, hard to hear behind a door. Overall, it was a good purchase thus far. Will know more in 21 days. The 4/5 stars was due to the temperature setting being so far off. Being the correct temp is extremely important. Be sure you check this prior to adding eggs! ... show more

  • Incubator
This incubator is ok . I can't get the humidity to stay level .it's always alarming out. I have to put water in the bottom .the water reservoir doesn't work

  • Easy to use.
hatch rate was above 50 %, not the best but still works and not very complicated. It says it is for 56 eggs but i like to give them room when hatching so i only put in 48 and hatch rate went up drastically.

  • Set it and forget it...until lockdown ;-)
Finally one that works! I was hesitant to purchase this incubator since I had one that was the same style but from a different brand that never worked properly from the get go. I do like this style because of the size and amount of eggs you can incubate at once, plus the pump (when it works) is great to keep the humidity stable. I always have a backup hygrometer/thermometer in the unit and so far they read the same. The light for the candler is nice and bright and the window for viewing the hatching process is great. It is completely plug and play, super easy to use right out of the box. I don't think you'll find another incubator with this much capacity for less than what this one costs. Definitely a value for the money. ... show more

  • Good quality, easy to use
Good quality, easy to setup and use. Very quiet when running, loud alarm if something is off. Do not have it near a window or you will go through tons of water! I actually bought two of these and have hatched lots of chicks and ducklings. I would definitely purchase again.
