  • Basic Concept For Students
Not the most expensive or advanced scientific calculator but its a great beginner calculator. A perfect calculator to get comfortable using a more advance one or to practice. Just can only use for your basic needs for math.

  • Definitely handy
This calculator is really handy in helping my kids solve algebraic equations. They can pop it in there and voila! It’s great quality too!

  • Functional but printed instructions are very very small
I am an old guy. I remember the days when we used slide rules (i.e. before calculators) and I kept my really fancy slide rule for decades before finally binning it. I am not sure how many folks still use calculators when they could probably use a computer or a smartphone. Still, this is a pretty nice scientific calculator (and it is solar powered). It seems to work pretty much like the scientific calculators that I remember (i.e. the TI and Casio calculators - not HP as it used reverse Polish notation). My only complaint is that the instruction sheet has very tiny print. ... show more

  • Great math tool
Good quality with a good variety of features. Would recommend for 8th grade math.

  • Will get my son through math classes
Way too complex for me! But I don't have to use it. This is for my son taking advanced math classes. Not as well built as his brother's TI calculator, but much more affordable. Seems to do everything the TI does. My only real gripe was that the screen seems a little dim.

  • The quality is not that great but functional.
It's similar to a Texas Instrument sci calc. It functions as per its description and operates similar to a TI version. The problem is that the price does not justify the look and feel compared to a branded version. The buttons seem from a dollar calculator. Compared to similar non-branded scientific calculator it's only priced at $10. I tested the basic scientific calculations, side by side with a TI sci calc and it seems to reply with the same answer. Overall, it's a decent sci calc for half the price. ... show more

  • Chinese Clone of Casio fx-99ES PLUS Functions Equal Contrast Not As Good
This is an excellent calculator in terms of its functionality and will carry through most undergraduate classes including calculus, linear algebra, physics and statistics. It is a close Chinese Clone of the Casio fx-991 ES and for most mathematical and control functions it functions equivalently. It is acceptable for the SAT on the calculator sections. It lacks the range of contrast and QR-code lookup of the Casio and the original is available on Amazon for a similar price. ... show more

  • 4 Stars
With school starting soon and one of my nieces going to middle school, it seemed like a good idea to upgrade her calculator. This isn't the fancy graphing type but it's better than those little tiny ones as it does more of the advanced calculations that you'll probably never need outside a classroom unless you're an engineer or scientist or some other profession like that. I mean, I'm an accountant and I just use an adding machine, mostly to add and subtract. ... show more
