I use this iPad Pencil as an alternative for an Apple Pencil 2 for my iPad Pro 2022 (6th generation). It came with two additional tips and can be magnetic wireless charged on my iPad Pro. You can tell how much battery life of this iPad Pencil is left if you set it up in the Battery setting. However, it does use my iPad Pro battery when charging but I don't know how much it will reduce my iPad Pro battery life. I probably will do a charging test when this iPad Pencil has 0% power. With the time I have with this iPad Pencil, I was not able to reduce its power to 0%. The pairing between my iPad Pro and this iPad Pencil is straight forward without any issue. You can change some features for this iPad Pencell in Setting. I have a protector film on my iPad Pro and this iPad Pencil works with the protector film as well and I cannot tell the difference between with or with the protector film on my iPad Pro. So far, the tip of this iPad Pencil does not seem to scratch the protector film on my iPad Pro. I don't have an Apple Pencil 2 so I cannot compare the Apple Pencil 2 with this iPad Pencil. My understanding is that Apple Pencil 2 can sense pencil pressure and has a double tap feature which this iPad Pencil can not and does not have. However, this iPad Pencil works with hovering as well and I can see the app icon reacts when I hover this iPad Pencil over it. The features describes in the item descriptions match what this iPad Pencil can do, like the smart shortcut function on the top of the iPad Pencil, palm rejection and tilt function, etc. It is an excellent alternative if you enjoy using a pencil on your iPad Pro.

First off, I have to say I'm impressed with the value of this active stylus considering the price point. While this thing is missing a few features that the real Apple Pencil has, it's around a quarter of the price. Let's start with the good things. The fit and finish is nice. The pencil feels pretty good in the hand and doesn't feel too cheap. It does creak a little if you try to bend it, but it's not alarming. The magnets and wireless charging are both good as well and have no issues. The pencil snaps right to the side of my iPad with no problems and holds on pretty well too. As far as the connectivity, that works well too. The pencil paired right up with my iPad and hasn't seemed to really drop the connection either. Now for a couple of cons. The pencil doesn't show up as an accessory like the real Apple Pencil does. So, no charging animations or charge indicators in the settings of the iPad, and no connectivity status in the settings either. This pencil connects as a Bluetooth accessory, so it does show up in the Bluetooth menu, but that's it. Next, the pencil goes to sleep after about 5 minutes, something the real pencil does not do. As a result, you kind of have to go through this awkward wakeup process to get the stylus to respond after it goes to sleep. You have to disconnect it from the side of the iPad, then reconnect it, then disconnect it again to wake the pencil up. To its credit, it does wake up quickly after that, but the whole wake-up dance is kind of a pain, especially if you're just trying to take a quick note. The only other negative I can really point out is that this pencil doesn't support angled use/pressure sensitivity. This is not a deal breaker for me since I am not an artist, but it may be a problem for some. Other than those small cons mentioned, this pencil works perfectly and is honestly a fantastic option that gets you around 90% there for less than 25% of the price of the "real" one. All things considered, I think it's well worth the asking price.
