The media could not be loaded. On arrival the pen did not turn on. After fully charging, it still would not turn on. Returning it to the charger, I could turn it on while charging and then take it off the charger and use it… but then it wouldn’t turn off!! If it turned on and off, it is actually a great item and paired just fine with my 6th generation iPad Air. I wrote notes and highlighted until I realized it wouldn’t turn off again unless I put it on the charging magnet again. I think I just got a dud. They are sending a new one. Ok, the new one came and works perfectly. Make sure you press and HOLD the power button for a FULL 10 seconds to turn on and off. Works great on my 6th gen iPad and with Goodnotes. 1/10/25 update. This one’s charger MELETED. It is the 3rd pencil. FIRE DANGER, do not buy. It was very hot the last time it charged, and then next charge I noticed it had warped and melted the magnetic charger… and of course it will not charge my pencil.

The feel and quality of this Apple Pencil is almost like the real one. Performance wise, it’s missing the pressure sensors the actual Apple Pencil has. The pencil tip works great and has a lot of versatility. The color looks just like the authentic Apple Pencil. The connectivity works as intended and the materials feel durable. The added bonus of being able to magnetically charge the pencil on the side of the iPad makes it a great all around value.

The media could not be loaded. Bought Gen2 Apple Pencil from Apple Store, ended up returning it for this impressive alternative. This charges on the iPad, instant sync. Colors on top of pencil tell you charge state Make sure to connect to pencil in iPad bluetooth to use the single / double click features No lags on writing and gets the job done with fraction of case of Apple branded one. Highly recommended.

Right out of the box it would not power on. After charging it for a half hour, I got about 8% charge, then the power button was ineffective, it just stayed on. The next morning, it wouldn't turn on or charge. So bottom line, does not charge well nor stay charged, and the power button is ineffective. Not sure where all these glowing reviews came from, but this pencil is going back where it came from.
