I wanted to like this product. I decided not to bring my laptop to a conference and got this keyboard to use with my iPad instead. Unfortunately, I should have sorted the reviews by "newest" as there are obviously issues with this newest batch. The keyboard is a nice size for an iPad keyboard and it was easy to get used to touch typing on it. The backlit keys were nice, and I liked how I could choose a color. It connected to my iPad easily and charged up quickly. However, after the morning session, I came back to my iPad to start recording afternoon session notes, only to have it repeatedly and quickly disconnect and reconnect over and over. The backlight button and the button to change the colors started turning on and off on their own, but I was unable to use them to any effect myself. The keys were unusable and there was obviously a short in the wiring, because alongside my backlight turning itself on and off every two seconds or so, the colors were also rotating at the same time. Even worse, as I was typing, and trying to deal with the frequent disconnections so I wouldn't miss key points of the presentation, the keyboard would often start typing on its own. Usually this was either spaces (fine) or worse, it would delete what I had written until I could get it to stop. Obviously, this is not what you want when taking notes of a presentation. As far as the case goes, it's sturdy and a nice color. The make seems to be of high quality. I like the stylus holder and felt it was very conveniently placed to take a minimum of space while being easy to use. My only complaint with the case is that the magnetism of the keyboard is not enough, so if you pick up the case and don't hold the keyboard, it does fall off. I bought this. I’m very disappointed. The keyboard doesn’t stay on so that’s not a benefit as far as I’m concerned it’s more of a headache and your iPad does not shut off when you close the case not like my other one from ZAGG that one used to close completely, and the keyboard was attached, made a mistake and thought that this was a better buy I mistaken.
