Having used a CHI hot iron for over 10 years, I had minimal complaints from using a flat iron but overall was satisfied. My gripe was always the inevitable iron line that pressed into my mane near the scalp in efforts of attempt to pressing the entire length of strand, and the time it took. My straightening process was never less than 40 mins and that was a fast, good-enough job, in which some of my hair was pulled back for style to disguise my lazy straightening job with iron lines. With this new tool from Glamfields Hair Straightener Brush, I feel like I've been in the dark for some time. How long have these brushes been out? I feel so foolish. I had no idea a straightener brush existed let alone how extremely effective and FAST I can straighten my entire head of medium thick, just-below shoulder blades length hair with some serious waves. 10 minutes! That's all. From start to finish to include thermo heat protectant spray and finishing spray. 10 MINUTES! SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! WHAT! Some tips I've learned from my early use of this tool...it's a brush, so if your hair is tangled, it will hurt to pull the brush through your hair during the straightening process., so pre brush. Also, you will want to apply a slight pull on the brush to put pressure through the bristles for the hair to rub against the heated paddle. I also found using the brush from the underside of your hair sections gets better, results than brushing from the top side, as you would a typical brush. You can give your long bangs a little lift if you brush from the underside and lift upward while curling the brush away from your face. You can feel some residual heat while using the brush but not hot enough to burn. The bristles don't get hot to touch. The brush has some weight to it. I did find my hand fatigued by the end of 10 minutes styling. My teen daughter was just as amazed as I to find how easy and fast this tool completed the entire job. No complaints yet. Low cost investment tool. Recommended for those who need to speed up their morning straightening process. I can say my CHI iron gives a superior flat sleek finish, it's quite amazing. I will keep my CHI iron for times I want a sleek look and I have the extra time to complete the process. This straightening brush also has a flat finish with a softer look.

Where has this been all my life?? I am so amazed! My hair is fairly thick and wavy, and I have a lot of it. Falls to about 3 inches below my shoulders. I wanted to tame the wave but the regular straightener seems to do so much damage, so I gave this a try. It far exceeded my expectations! It's nicely packaged and comes with a carrying pouch and a heat-resistant glove. I did not even use the glove, didn't need to. I used it at 365 degrees, much lower than I need to set the straightening iron. It heated quickly. Some of the things I especially liked are that, even though the controls are on the handle, you can't mess up the settings or turn it off by accident by bumping the buttons while using it. They are sort of inset, and it locks on the setting you put it on after a few seconds, and stays there until you deliberately change it. Another thing I appreciate is how lightweight it is. I have arthritis and after researching a lot of straightening brushes I chose this one partly because several reviewers commented on that. Very easy on my hands. And since it does the job in just a few minutes, my hand doesn't get tired. But the best part is how well it works. I divided my hair into two sections since it's so thick, though I usually have to do three sections with the regular straightening iron. Just brush slowly, and man, the curl relaxes and it looks great. It also doesn't flatten my hair as much as a regular straightener. My hair ended up looking straight but still with a little body, and not at all frizzy -- in fact, someone complimented me on how healthy my hair looked! I think it's a gentler heat and since you aren't sandwiching the hair between two panels it doesn't damage as much. You can get all the way to the roots. It didn't just straighten it, I was able to style it as well just by brushing back a bit. I am just amazed that my hair looks so good with so little effort. Took maybe five minutes start to finish! Buy this one, you will not be disappointed. Seriously, I am in love with this thing. I actually threw away my straightening iron. I would never go back to one after this.

An update: After using it per instructions. I washed my hair using coditioner as well. Let my hair dry naturaly and then used the brush. My hair was messy and wavy since I slept with it wet. I succeded to straight it, but I had to go through each part cuple of times. I used 300 f on my thin hair. The main issue is the edges of the hair (top and bottom) . It's harder to straighten it comparing to iron and it's not as straight!!!! Overall, if it's true that the brush damage the hair less than an iron, so I think it's worth it and thus specific brush did a good job. The item is exactly as described. It came in a nice packaging with a small cleaning brush, a glove and a purple bag for storage. The instructions are clear. I turned it on and everything is working fine. I tried it on a piece of my hair and it looks great. I have a thin wavy hair. I will update the review after a few uses. My only complaint is about the delivery. Although I received it very quickly, the item was sent in an envelope instead of a box. No protecting wrap around. The delivery boy just through it on the floor and went. I could hear the bump. Luckily it was't damaged.
